WARDOGS is unfinished, occasionally unbalanced and still fighting the problems that come with a huge launch. It is also the most interesting multiplayer shooter we have played this year.
As it stands now; the collection comes across more as a work in progress that does show promise and hopefully will be given the attention and care that it needs to give fans the updated yet retro Star Wars experience they desire.
From the winning mix of action and humor to the numerous variations the gameplay offers Bulletstorm is a nostalgic trip back but it continues to make me wish that a sequel would happen as this is what the fans want.
The graphics are impressive and playing on a PS5 really showed off the retracing effects and sheer speed of the game. It was difficult at times not to focus on the detailed landscaping and environments around me and to focus on winning. There are plenty of challenges and races for players to conduct if they are not ready to take on live opponents but they are always there should the need or desire arise.
I found the game works best for me in smaller doses such as two to three rounds at a time as it was not the type of game where I could play for hours at a time. That being said the detail and nostalgia level alone makes the game a must for fans and the creepy fun is a must for horror fans.
The graphics and sound work well for the game and for those who are up for a challenge with a touch of nostalgia, Jagged Alliance 3 is an assignment you will be happy to have accepted.
As the missions unfolded the game naturally became harder but the ability to play the game with varied strategies and not be forced into a linear style of gameplay and mission completion was a great joy. Graphically the game shines on the PSVR2 and I really enjoyed seeing how much games of this type had progressed from the PSVR1 in terms of options, graphics, and gameplay really made this a must-own for PSVR2 owners.
Graphically the game shines as it mixes old and new to give a quirky and unique visual style and one that can change from era to era as players complete their quest to defeat the enemy and launch the game on time.
There are some minor annoyances and glitches like not being able to adjust your difficulty level new game and some frustratingly precise stealth and moments in the game that required repeat efforts. That being said, Aliens: Dark Descent is a very enjoyable game from start to finish that captures the best of the Alien franchise and provides plenty of challenges along the way.
If you’re looking for some solid FPS action then Trepang2 is a great option, especially for players who like the game that hits the ground running and puts the focus on the action rather than the extended narrative as much of the story is told over the course of missions rather through drawn-out cut scenes.
