Naruto to Boruto: Shinobi Striker already has a vast roster of playable characters, but a new DLC has come in the form of the franchise’s greatest ninja, Naruto.

Hokage Naruto is now a playable character in the game, and Bandai Namco has released a new trailer for him:

While it’s not my favorite version of Naruto, it’s a good addition for anyone who prefers the Boruto timeline. He goes hand-in-hand with the Boruto version of Sasuke, and though I know some people hold some animosity to her, I would also love a playable version of adult Sakura down the line; just to complete the trio.

Hokage Naruto is actually part of the Season Pass 2 content for the game which includes several other characters like Killerbee, Adult Sasuke, Might Guy, Zabuza, and plenty more. The Season Pass 2 including all those characters runs for $29.99, but if you want to by characters individualy, you only need to spend $3.99.

For now it looks like Hokage Naruto will be the last character coming to Season Pass 2, but hopefully we can an update for more incoming heroes before the year ends.

Torchlight III is set to come out later this year, and though we already have a look at different classes like the Dusk Mage, Railmaster, and Forged, Perfect World has decided to give us a look at a fourth class coming to the game—the Sharpshooter.

Check out the trailer:

Besides being good with ranged weapons, the Sharpshooter is also said to be prolific when it comes to summoning spirits. According to Arc Games, The devs have actually been working on the character for years, finding out a good balance between a magic hero or a more tool-based one, and they ended up with the Sharpshooter who is described as a ‘bit of a scoundrel.’

With Torchlight II having four classes to pick from, some think that this Sharpshooter could be the last class for the third game. Then again, maybe the devs would want to add a few more. I guess we’ll just have to wait and see if they have anything else up their sleeves.

THQ Nordic had released the Ragnarok expansion for Titan Quest PC back in 2017, but players for the Xbox One and PS4 haven’t had anything but the Immortal Throne expansion that came out back in 2007. The good news is, Ragnarok is finally coming to consoles, and we have two new trailers to get you excited.

Here’s the cinematic trailer:

What’s great is, Titan Quest: Ragnarok will also come with a new level cap plus a new mastery for your heroes. The expansion also gives players a new story act that promises ‘thousands of new enemies and dozens of bosses’—enabling players to get better loot.

A third expansion, Titan Quest: Atlantis had come out last year, but we still have any idea when that will be coming to consoles. The good news is, THQN promises that they , ‘don’t think it will take much longer.’

At long last, Titan Quest continues its epic journey through the world of antiquity. A mysterious threat calls the heroes of Hades to the uncharted lands of northern Europe, where new enemies await and new powers and treasures are waiting to be found!
Titan Quest: Ragnarok is currently available for $20, but the expansion is only available for Xbox One and PS4; it looks like Nintendo Switch players will have to wait.

Titan Quest: Ragnarok Finally Comes to Console

When Death Stranding was announced for PC, it was teased that there would be a photo mode for the game, something that wasn’t in PS4 version. The great news is, fans will now be able to take high-res shots of Sam Bridges in Hideo Kojima’s strange new world.

As per Kojima on his official Twitter:

Today’s good news!

DEATH STRANDING PC ver. Photo Mode will be also implemented for PS4 ver. as many of you requested! We are doing the final checks right now and trying to make it happen at the end of this month’s update. Photo Mode during your journey and delivery

Seeing that one of the main hooks of Death Stranding is its unique visuals, it was curious that the PS4 version didn’t come with a photo mode. At this point, being able to pause the game and take photos is becoming a required feature for Triple A games; Spider-Man had it, and so did God of War, Horizon Zero Dawn, and Uncharted 4.

While reviews weren’t stellar for Death Stranding, the game remains to be something that is frequently buzzed about online. Despite being an endless fetch quest, the game admittedly still has some unique visuals, and Kojima himself still manages to find new ways to innovate the gameplay.

Death Stranding is currently available for PS4, but comes to PC on June 22. The photo mode update is expected to arrive in the end of the month.

Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order is gearing up for the release of their final DLC with Shadow of Doom, and even if you don’t want to buy the expansion, you can actually get your hands on some great new skins absolutely free.

Check them out:

While you get a lot of classic skins like with heroes like Jean Grey and Luke Cage, you also have some great iconic skins for other comic runs like Daredevil from Man without Fear or Gambit from Age of Apocalypse. Personally, I like the appearance of the Guardians of the Galaxy from their most popular comic run from Dan Abnett and Andy Lanning; you just have to love Groot in costume.

Seeing that Doom was the main villain of the first Ultimate Alliance game, it would be interesting to see how they bring him back for this third one. With Thanos now gone, Marvel is said to be hyping up Doom to be the next villain of Marvel. Let’s hope this version doesn’t disappoint.

Shadow of Doom comes out on March 25, but these free skins are said to come to the game a day before on the 25th.

Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3 Reveals Free DLC Skins

Battlefront fans were ecstatic when it was announced that Scarif was finally coming to Battlefront II, but it looks like the update has been delayed thanks to the ongoing Coronavirus pandemic.

As per the official update on Reddit, the update has been moved from the end of March to the middle of April. The DICE studio had started to transition into a ‘work-from-home’ operation, and this has lead to the delay of the update. No specific release date has been released, but at least we know that it comes out in the middle of next month and not toward the end.

Though it’s a bummer having to wait for the update for a little longer, the consolation is that we’re going to be getting some new skins for heroes and villains. We don’t know exactly what’s coming, but a lot are hoping that we finally get the Damaged Vader skin as well as a skin for Chewie where he has C-3PO strapped to his back. And though I’m not a fan of The Rise of Skywalker, Palpatine’s appearance with the red inner robe would be a great skin for the game.

With the cirus keeping everyone inside, it now feels like we’re needing video games more than ever. Let’s just be thankful that DICE is only delayed by a few weeks and not months like other releases.

It looks like the Scarif update has been delayed thanks to the ongoing Coronavirus Pandemic.

Star Wars Battlefront II’s Scarif Update Delayed to April

Back in 2018, Overwatch’s McCree short had introduced us to Echo. It’s been 2 years later, and this curious omnic is finally going to be a playable character in the game.

Check out her origin story:

Introducing Echo. An evolutionary robot programmed with a rapidly adapting artificial intelligence, Echo represents the cutting edge of technology.

When it comes to lore, Echo is a robot built by Overwatch founding member Dr. Mina Liao. Echo’s personality is actually based on Liao herself, and her ultimate in the game allows her to mimic enemy heroes. What’s more, when she does “Duplicate”, the ultimate charge builds up 6.5 times faster than normal, so Echo can perform her target’s ultimate in a few seconds.

Here’s the gameplay (via Your Overwatch):

For a more in-depth look at the character, you can also check out the update video with Jeff Kaplan:

It’s worth noting that the devs are going to be focusing on Overwatch 2 once Echo comes out, so it could be a while before we get a new face to the game. Either way, it’s going to be great to finally get a chance to play a character that’s been hyped up since 2018.

We don’t have a solid release date for Echo yet, but seeing as heroes usually come to the game a month after the initial announcement, we should get her sometime in April. Then again with COVID-19 slowing things down, it’s possible that Echo could be coming to the game in May, but that’s just my guess.

For now, you can play Overwatch on Xbox One, PS4, PC, and Nintendo Switch.

Sony has decided to make their big reveal for the PS5 today, and fans have been expecting that this new console will be backwards compatible. Too bad because it looks like it won’t be able to play anything from the first PlayStation to PS3.

As per the official announcement with Mark Cerny, the PS5 will feature a system that will allow it to play games from the PS4. While it doesn’t seem like the console can play games from the first three iterations of the PlayStation, the new system in place sounds like it could be malleable. The issue is that it won’t be able to play older gens on launch—at least, that’s what I understand.

You can watch the full 1-hour presentation here:

If anything, a lot of people aren’t too happy that backwards compatibility only goes back to the PS4. If it’s any consolation, PlayStation will make the top 100 PS4 games available to play when the PS5 comes out. Here I am just hoping that everyone’s PS library will carry over from the PS4 to the PS5, because I imagine it would be a huge pain if we had to buy all the old titles again just so we can play them on the next-gen console.

Oddly enough, this ‘big announcement’ didn’t come with a price, release date, or console reveal. I’m giving it a chance because of the Coronavirus Outbreak right now, but hopefully we get some more solid details in June.

The PS5 is expected to launch this winter.

PS5’s Backwards Compatibility Only Applies to PS4 Games

News had come out earlier in the week that there were two Silent Hill games in the works with Sony allegedly trying to mend the rift between Hideo Kojima and Konami. Now news has it that Sony is actually looking to buy these Kojima titles from Konami instead.

According to a leak on 4chan (via Jack of All Controllers), an employee from Konami had revealed last January that Sony was looking to buy franchises Metal Gear Solid, Silent Hill, and Castlevania from Konami. While a source from 4chan is barely reputable, it does line up with the recent news that’s come out with the Silent Hill games, so everyone is now wondering if the news about MGS and Castlevania are true as well.

</figure">

Seeing that Kojima is a celebrity game developer, it would make sense that Sony would want him to come back to franchises that he made popular in the first place. Then again, with Kojima supposedly being an ‘artist’ when it comes to games, I’m wondering if he would rather focus on making original games from now on, or jump into a franchise that he knows will make money.

Either way, all we can really do is wait until something official comes out. Despite all these delays with the Coronavirus Outbreak, gaming seems to have found a way to keep pushing forward.

While we don’t have any official update on these games, you can play Kojima’s Death Stranding for the PS4 today. The game is also set to come out to PC on June 2.

The Coronavirus Outbreak is continuing to hit hard, and we are just getting more delays and cancellations left and right. Despite this, CD Projekt Red promises to adapt to the virus, and assures fans that the long-awaited Cyberpunk 2077 is going to come out on its intended date.

Like many other offices have adapted, CD Projekt Red has opted to have all their developers work remotely. Despite the setback, the company is still promising that they are ‘showing no signs of stopping’ and are still aiming for the release of their next game in September.

It’s very interesting that CDPR is sticking to their September release date, seeing as they’ve already delayed Cyberpunk 2077. Originally the game was set to come out this April, but the developers had opted to delay the game in order to give themselves more time for ‘finishing and polishing.’ Seeing as they are opting to keep their second release date, I have a feeling that the game is already pretty close to being finished. At least CD Projekt Red is also making sure that its employees are safe.

With the world going on a lockdown, there’s going to be a lot of attention going to TV and video games, seeing as people will have to keep themselves occupied while in quarantine. Hopefully this whole thing blows over in a few months, but we should all prepare for the worst.
