Fantastic news for console players and owners. <a href="https://whatoplay.com/games/the-lullaby-of-life/">The Lullaby of Life</a>, the award-winning indie <a href="https://whatoplay.com/switch/best/adventure/">adventure</a> game, just arrived on console platforms. Creators on August 7 launched The Lullaby of Life on Nintendo Switch, Xbox Series X/S, and Xbox One.

Ben Kvalo, CEO and Founder of Midwest Games, hoped console players would enjoy The Lullaby of Life.

"We hope console gamers will fall in love with Bombo’s developing world as much as we have with its launch on Xbox and Nintendo Switch today," he said.

The Lullaby of Life's expansion to consoles came four years after it made its debut on PC in 2020. It tells the journey of Bombo, a curious particle tasked with bringing life to the universe through the power of music.

Bombo's quest is to fill the silence and bring harmony to the universe using the power of sound. Players will help Bombo create progressively complex tunes with the help of the Ohmies. These are charming companions inspired by natural elements and string theory. Each Ohmie possesses unique properties, and they enable Bombo to create sound and solve puzzles. It can be through creation, destruction, and conservation.

Reaching the climax of each level culminates in awakening powerful entities known as Elders. These awakenings reveal new celestial discoveries and advance the creation of the universe. For those seeking extra challenges, more adventures await Bombo and the Ohmies in trials and challenge modes. These trials test timing, focus, and skill.

Upon its release, The Lullaby of Life has garnered critical acclaim for its innovative blend of music and puzzle-solving. Critics and gamers alike have praised the game's soothing atmosphere and captivating visuals. They also lauded its unique mechanics that encourage players to experiment with sound.

The game's console edition currently carries a price tag of US $14.99.

Good news for Power Ranger fans.

Power Rangers: Mighty Force, the new mobile game of the mega-franchise, has launched. Creators from East Side Games, Mighty Kingdom, and Hasbro Inc. on August 6 released Power Rangers: Mighty Force.

The <a href="https://whatoplay.com/android/free/">free-to-play title</a> is available for download on the App Store for iOS and Play Store for Android devices.

Power Rangers: Mighty Force brings together Rangers from across the entire Power Rangers universe. The game features an original story. In it, they unite to face the ever-present threat of Rita Repulsa and her evil forces. Players take control of their favorite Power Rangers to build powerful teams.

The game combines idle gameplay with <a href="https://whatoplay.com/android/best/rpg/">RPG</a> elements. This means it will allow players to progress even when not actively playing. They can compete against other players in daily battles and PvP matches.

The game also contains storylines and challenges with special events featuring new characters. Players can also participate in limited-time narrative events featuring fan-favorite characters and classic villains. At the same time, they can unlock powerful upgrades and new Rangers to join their roster. Since it's a mobile game, its idle mechanics also allow for casual enjoyment, developers said.

Its creators, meanwhile, said they are excited to introduce a new world in the Power Rangers franchise through Mighty Force.

Power Rangers: Mighty Force allowed its creators to further expand its digital games portfolio. According to Wally Nguyen, Chief Revenue Officer at East Side Games, they are excited to welcome fans and interested players into the game.

"We are thrilled to offer fans an immersive experience that combines nostalgia, storytelling, and fun gameplay," said Nguyen.

“Power Rangers: Mighty Force” is the latest mobile game from East Side Games. The studio has already established a track record of creating titles based on popular TV shows.

Power Rangers Has a New Mobile Game

Metaverse Game Studios announces the PC launch of its <a href="https://www.angelicthegame.com/register/">open multiplayer alpha</a> for their first Blockchain-powered game. Starting August 6, <a href="https://whatoplay.com/games/angelic/">Angelic: The Chaos Theatre</a> opens its doors for players to immerse themselves in its ambitious party-based <a href="https://whatoplay.com/best/rpg/">RPG</a> mechanics.

Angelic: The Chaos Theatre offers an interesting take on established genre conventions by combining BioWare’s <a href="https://whatoplay.com/games/mass-effect/">Mass Effect</a>’s deep character progression with web3 foundations. Players embark on an old school RPG adventure with believable heroes and contribute to its collaborative multiplayer space.

The game features a familiar <a href="https://whatoplay.com/pc/best/turn-based-rpg/">turn-based combat</a> system. This allows players to lead their squad in strategic wins by making the right moves.

The devs posted a gameplay snippet of what to expect in its open alpha.

<div class="video-responsive">
 <iframe width="869" height="489" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/7Bi4o8GCJd8" title="Launch Party Angelic" frameborder="0" allow="accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share" referrerpolicy="strict-origin-when-cross-origin" allowfullscreen></iframe>
</div>

Customization options for heroes' appearances, abilities, and equipment are encouraged to maximize Angelic’s experience. Players active in the community can attain rewards known as ‘Community Points,’ these allow loyal users to purchase exclusive hero skins, higher-tier titles, ANGL tokens and more.

As of the moment, Angelic caters to both traditional players and web3 players. Players do not need to use any blockchain features to enjoy. However, in-game assets can be converted into smart contracts by utilizing various chains using Solana and Saga.

Players skeptical about the web3 integration should not worry. According to their Website’s FAQ, “Angelic is not a play-2-earn game. Angelic utilizes blockchain technology with a far larger and sustainable vision.”

The developers confirmed that any in-app purchases will be optional and purely cosmetic. Additionally, anyone can play Angelic without making any in-app purchases.

The PC version is the only available platform so far. The team at Metaverse Game Studios are aiming at next-gen consoles as a next step. Switch and mobile versions and companion apps are also being planned in the long run.

Angelic: The Chaos Theater is currently in its Early Access phase. Players can expect core gameplay mechanics and a portion of its story available to play. A demo is up on Steam for anyone curious.

Riot’s celebrated hero-shooter enters consoles.

Riot Games has officially launched <a href="https://whatoplay.com/games/valorant/">VALORANT</a> on Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5, bringing the popular tactical <a href="https://whatoplay.com/best/shooting/">shooter</a> to console players in the U.S., Canada, Europe, Japan, and Brazil.

Unfortunately, Riot maintains that it's omitting cross-play on the console releases. This means that unlike other hero-shooters like <a href="https://whatoplay.com/games/overwatch-2/">Overwatch 2</a> and <a href="https://whatoplay.com/games/apex-legends/">Apex Legends</a> console users will not be queued with PC players. Despite this feature's absence, VALORANT's console version aims to deliver the same precise, team-based, tactical shooter experience that PC players have enjoyed for years.

Both PC and console players will benefit from the simultaneous platform releases of all live patch balances, new agents, maps, premium content, and additional live service features. Its much recent patch included changes to its heroes, namely Neon, Raze and Iso.

“We’ve received so much valuable feedback from players during the Limited Beta and feel confident in delivering on our gameplay promise for console players. Whether it's hitting that perfect shot, executing a flawless team play, or wiping out the enemy team, we look forward to seeing console players experience the same gameplay thrill as VALORANT PC players.” said Arnar Gylfason, Production Director of VALORANT.

This console launch marks Riot’s massive leap into console territory. VALORANT is currently standing as one of the biggest competitive <a href="https://whatoplay.com/ps5/best/fps/">FPS</a> games in the market. According to escharts.com, it earned a total of over 1.6 million peak viewers on its recent VCT 2024 event in Madrid. It also amassed a total prize pool of $32 million dollars.

Cult of the Lamb Expands with Interactive Comic "The Pilgrim Pack"

An indie studio from Germany is set to debut its first gaming project. And it's going to be a massive multiplayer, turn-based title. DFW Games launched <a href="https://whatoplay.com/android/domination-dynasty-turn-based/">Domination Dynasty</a> on August 3. The game will launch on iOS and Android.

Like any <a href="https://whatoplay.com/android/best/mmo/">massive multiplayer online game</a>, Domination Dynasty takes players to a large-scale competition. But this time, they need to compete with 1,000 other players. All will vie for dominance on a single, sprawling map.

Developers promised to bring a unique take on the <a href="https://whatoplay.com/android/best/turn-based-strategy/">turn-based strategy</a> genre. It features a unique system called a global round-timer.

Between rounds, players need to plan their next moves. Once the timer runs out, all actions will execute at the same time. As a result, they will face a dynamic and ever-changing battlefield.

The combat system in Domination Dynasty emphasizes strategic planning and skillful troop composition.

There's no room for luck here, developers described. Victory depends on the player's ability to outwit and outmaneuver their opponents.

Beyond the large-scale battles, Domination Dynasty also offers real-time management. Between rounds, players can focus on building and expanding their cities. They can also unlock new technologies and craft powerful items. Players, in addition, may forge alliances with other players through powerful dynasties.

<h2>Key Features of Domination Dynasty:</h2>

<ul>
<li>Massive Multiplayer Battles: Up to 1,000 players compete on a single map, creating a dynamic and ever-changing landscape.</li>

<li>Simultaneous Turns: Players strategize and plan their moves simultaneously.</li>

<li>Skill-Based Combat: It is not random chance. But rather, strategic troop composition and cunning tactics give players the advantage.</li>

<li>Real-Time City Management: Build and expand the city. Research new technologies, and craft powerful items between rounds.</li>

<li>Dynasty System: Form alliances with other players and work together to dominate the map.</li>
</ul>

Domination Dynasty is free to download and play, with optional in-app purchases available.
