Deadlink has officially launched on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S. This console debut brings the game’s high-octane action and visuals, running at 60 fps and native 4K resolution for the modern consoles. Notably, the PlayStation 5 version features full DualSense support, enhancing the immersive gameplay experience.

Like every roguelite title, the game's addictive loop is designed to make players want to dive back in for "just one more run." Deadlink is not just about precise shooting, it challenges players to fight strategically to collect resources and funds. These can be used to unlock new implants and upgrade their character.

Perhaps the biggest feature for console users is a new time-attack game mode called Chronodeck. This mode allows players to showcase their skills by completing challenging courses filled with obstacles and competing on leaderboards. Chronodeck features 12 new maps, with three dedicated to each of the four Combat Classes.

Players on PS5 and Xbox Series X can participate in the Chronodeck contest, where the best submitted scores will win a DualSense Edge and an Xbox Elite Series 2 controller. More details are available on Crunching Koalas’ X (formerly Twitter) account.

Deadlink is a fast-paced cyberpunk FPS with roguelite elements. Players take on the role of elite operatives in the experimental Deadlink project, piloting autonomous combat shells to fight against powerful corporations.

The game offers a variety of playstyles with 20 types of weapons and over 100 types of implants, ensuring each randomized run is unique.

Deadlink's Steam version came out on July 27, 2023. The game received over thousands of positive reviews from users. Some praise its Doom-like approach to gameplay, complementing its never-ending roguelike mechanics.

On whatoplay, Deadlink received an aggregate gamerscore of 8.9.
