73It’s a shame that none of the features in The Last of Us Part 2 made their way to The Last of Us Part 1, as the gameplay would have gained a lot from simply adding the silencer for the Pistol, as Ellie had it. Both she and Joel have a bow, with Ellie having more destructive weaponry, like explosive arrows.
Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered remains one of the greatest superhero games, even after the success of the Injustice and Arkham series. While it has a few flaws in both performance and its game design that hold it back from perfection, it finds its footing with its well-written characters and fun gameplay.
This is an excellent game; although I found some of the animations to be a little rough, but they can be easily overlooked. The audio sometimes can be completely mute in some missions, but that also can be overlooked, overall this is a very enjoyable game that is worth your time if you want a game that introduces you to the Vampire: The Masquerade world, or a game with an engaging story with characters that truly feel real.
The game is exceptionally bland, it doesn’t try to be a lot of things, but that is its problem, and even for the things it does try to be, it fails to fill in any sense of horror or make you feel challenged with the combat as it is pretty slow and straightforward.
Gran Turismo 7 is nonetheless a true comeback for the series following the dismal reaction of Gran Turismo Sport.
The Night runner hideouts and windmills were fun to climb and unlock, some of them are hard to reach without the required stamina or good skills to find a way to climb one; an example is me having Wall Run to get the windmill with me 220 stamina when it required 300 normally without any skills like Wall Run.
Overall, Minoria is a short, fun Metroidvania type game that’s certainly worth it if this is your jam, but don’t expect it to be a world-altering experience.
The Pedestrian is a fantastic journey through the backdrop of the mundane. By making everyday backgrounds appear almost magical, and with its creative puzzle design, it never outlives its welcome.
Narita boy has its flaws – it’s initial pacing, too much dry text exposition, perhaps too reliant on backtracking. But it shines in its presentation – both visual and audible – tied together by its fun combat and motivating you to continue to learn the creator’s backstory.
Good Pizza, Great Pizza is a fun little minigame to play when you want to waste a little time away rather than play marathon hour-long gaming sessions. Despite its low price and the handheld nature of the Switch, this game is probably better played on your mobile device.
