Paradox Interactive and Double Eleven has released an announcement trailer that confirms a March 26 release date for Prison Architect 2. A sequel to Prison Architect, this new prison sim will release on PC, PS5, and Series X|S with refreshed 3D visuals.
Aside from the 3D upgrade, Prison Architect 2 deepens the prison simulation system. Players will be allowed to control almost every part of inmates' daily lives, from prison policies to the daily schedule.
Each of the players' choices will have immediate effects on the prison and its inmates. Inmates can either rebel against neglect, or progress through their correctional journey. These outcomes will be especially important in the upgraded Career Mode.
