ZA/UM's spy RPG from the makers of Disco Elysium reached consoles on November 3 with about 40,000 words of new writing and a new story encounter.

All three console versions launch with the Director's Cut from day one, according to ZA/UM's announcement. PC owners already have it as a free upgrade. Zero Parades: For Dead Spies first launched on PC on May 21, 2026, and costs $39.99 on Steam. Critics have rated it well, with a score of 8.4 on whatoplay from 17 critic reviews.

What's new in the Director's Cut

The biggest addition is the Quisach Roundabout, a new Dramatic Encounter. In it, Hershel and her old friend Ramses are extremely high, driving a hijacked tuk-tuk, and apparently stuck on a roundabout.

Backstage Mode lets players walk through earlier versions of some of the game's environments and find cut content, while art director Kaspar Tamsalu narrates stories from the team. The update also adds new conversations with Ramses, HOLOCENE and Melita, plus a completed and revised English voice-over, new outfits and new Reverie portraits, according to ZA/UM's Steam post.

Which consoles is Zero Parades on?

Zero Parades is on PS5, Xbox Series X|S and Switch 2. It isn't on the original Switch. The Xbox version supports Xbox Play Anywhere.
