Time for us to sound the horns because the arrival of one of the most anticipated PC RPG might finally be coming soon. In TaleWorlds Entertainment's latest announcement video, they reveal Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord's entrance to Steam Early Access on March 2020.
Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord is an action role-playing game with strategy elements that's set in the fictional Calradia inspired by the Migration Period of the Roman Empire and the European Middle Ages. It will be a prequel to the standalone expansion pack, Mount & Blade: Warband, and will take place 210 years before the events of Warband.
Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord was first announced in 2012 but not much came out of it until four years later. By 2016, they created a Steam page and uploaded videos to the official TalesWorld Entertainment youtube channel that showcased the game's siege gameplay. In the following years, we got previews of some of the factions.
There's no talks of an official release date, but after almost ten years of waiting, it's been memed to oblivion and it will be refreshing to finally see what kinds of innovations the game will have to offer.
