The developers of the upcoming action-adventure game Strayed Lights have revealed its release date.

Independent gaming developer Embers announced they would launch Strayed Lights by the end of April. They added that it would debut on PC, PS5, Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, PS4, and Xbox One.

Strayed Lights is Embers' first major project. In it, players take control of a tiny light in a dark and mysterious world. They must let their light glow and grow as they journey through mystical ruins and glowing trees. In turn, players will travel to various regions and fight shadow creatures.

The French gaming studio has released its official trailer on YouTube. The video provides players with a minute-long glimpse into the world they created. It also includes several combat previews.

According to its creators, Strayed Lights will bring players a "unique atmospheric" feel. The game does not have any dialogues, said Alexandre Arramon, co-founder and creative director at Embers. Instead, players will have the freedom to interpret their encounters.

We intentionally added no text or dialogue in the game to let players come up with their own interpretation, Arramon explained.

Developers have also tapped Grammy award-winner composer Austin Wintory for the game's soundtrack. Beyond its epic and atmospheric settings, players can expect an "enriching and illuminating journey that reflects life" in Strayed Lights.

Damien Dessagne, Embers' CEO and co-founder, described it as a “poetic and oneiric” reflection on the journey of life.

We want players to have that amazing feeling of overcoming a tough challenge while staying accessible, said Dessagne. The gaming studio executive also hoped players could experience a different game they can relate to and feel connected. We also hope they can experience a sense of wonder by exploring the world we created and the creatures in it. We can't wait to see how players make the world of Strayed Lights their own, he added. / ###

Ubisoft has revealed more information about the sequel to its popular online racing game The Crew. The French game publisher and developer announced that they would release The Crew: Motorfest this year.

The Crew: Motorfest is the third installment in Ubisoft's open-world racing series. It will be made available on PC, PS5, Xbox Series X, PS4, and Xbox One. The developers added that the game could also be played through the cloud via Amazon Luna.

The Crew: Motorfest will take players to the tropical island of O'ahu in Hawaii, Ubisoft said. They also dropped a teaser reveal video a day after making the announcement. It showed some of the progress developers had made, including racing locations. Players can expect to zoom past through the urban jungle of the Hawaiian capital Honolulu and down ashy volcano slopes.

The release date for The Crew: Motorfest remains unconfirmed, but Ubisoft has launched the game's closed beta test through its Insider Program. Ubisoft's Insider Program went live on February 1, with a closed beta test divided into four phases. The first phase will only allow PC players 'in order to make quick reiterations.'

Mickael Da Costa, Communications Manager of The Crew, said they would bring in at least 2,000 players for the Insider Program's first phase. (They) are chosen from our most active TC2 (The Crew 2) players. Our objective for this first phase is to aggregate the most relevant feedback and pay tribute to our most engaged players, said Da Costa.

Console owners can access the Insider Program during its final phases. The Crew was first launched in 2014. Its sequel, The Crew 2, came out four years later. Both games achieved commercial success but received a mixed reception from critics and players.

The world design in The Crew was highly praised, but it faced criticism for its online-only feature and a user interface that was deemed confusing by some players.

The Crew: Motorfest is currently being developed by Ubisoft's Lyon-based studio, Ivory Tower. The developers added that they would release more updates about the game in the coming months. / ###

Tinykin’s hand-drawn graphics brings its world to life. If you played 3D Super Mario games, the mechanics third-person platformer will familiar. This time, however, an army of cute and tiny friends are ready to help you.

On top of the core gameplay, it also comes with challenging puzzles and mini-games. Even the game's colorful world are filled with secrets and surprises. Whether you're building your village, exploring the world, or solving puzzles, there's always something fun and exciting to do. A playscore of 9.1

Just when we’ve had enough of Stanley and the Narrator, the story continues. There’s an entire new meta world to explore that will keep you guessing what surprises await.

Not only does it act like a ‘sequel’, it reinvents the original game as well. Adding a new layer of goofiness to its already crazy premise. With endings stacked upon different endings, there’s a lot of secrets to uncover in Stanley’s monotonous life.

It can be pretentious to some, but who could not hate a game where your best friend is a bucket? It reveis a playscore of 9.2.

3. Cuphead: The Delicious Last Course

We know this is just an expansion but it packs to much love and care, it deserves a place in this list. Cuphead’s new adventure into DLC Island is loaded with intense boss fights. With Miss Chalice's powerful moves, the fun never stops.

Although not as lengthy as the original, its selection of tough bosses will have you throwing the controller in frustration. There’s no way you can possibly beat this boss with all the things happening on screen, right?

2. Persona 5 Royal

Persona 5 Royal just made its debut to the Xbox. If you missed out on Joker and the gang's heists the first time around, now's your chance to join in on the fun.

Taking our second spot, this edition adds a wealth of new content to the base game: 40 more hours of story to enjoy, on top of the already massive 80-hour campaign. And with the addition of new character Kasumi, you'll experience a whole new dynamic in the team.

If you're a fan of JRPGs, don’t miss out on Persona 5 Royal's stylish turn-based combat. A playscore of 9.3

1. Elden Ring

Taking the top spot is non other than Elden Ring. Your Tarnished is unequaled as he fights the many threats that plague The Lands Between. This is a stellar achievement in video games. A culmination of all the things that made the Souls-like experience great.

The freedom of its open-world gives the player his own journey to take. We’ll never forget the first time we opened a chest and warped to Ohio. It is a fantastic experience from start to finish. Wrapping up in an intense boss fight that rivals the other games in the market. A masterpiece with a playscore of 9.4
