Dying Light 2 had been announced back in 2018. More than 2 years later, we still have no idea when the game is going to come out. Developer Techland has decided to release a response video. It consists of people from the development team reading some very aggressive comments asking about the release of the much-awaited sequel.

Check out the announcement:

The comment reading goes on for a bit, but the devs end the video with a promise that they are still hard at work on the game. Near the end, they even attached some snippets of gameplay.

“The whole team needs your trust and support as this is what motivates us, especially now when the circumstances are hard for everyone. We are proud of having such devoted fans as you, no matter how you express your feelings.”

It's not exactly the update that we've been waiting years for. But with the tone of the video, the release may be coming very soon. The video ends with a 2021 tag. Whether that means an update or the actual release, we're yet to find out.

For more information, you can go to the Dying Light 2 Discord which has a dl2-questions channel. There you'll find a form that will let fans send questions directly to the development team.

Dying Light 2 Devs Addresses Players: ‘We Got the Message’

Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout and Among Us were the surprise hit games of the last year. The two have decided to team up for the next season of Fall Guys which will take us to the Future. Or, the future according to the 80s.

Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout will teleport 2021’s most memeable jelly beans to a neon-drenched Blunderdome of the future, when Season 4 warps into view on March 22nd for PS4!

The Among Us skin will be part of the players’ fame path and they can unlock the bottom at Level 21 with the head available at Level 26. Among Us is also notorious for its simple character customization. There is a chance that there will be non-fame path Among Us skins that will also be available for players down the line.

Here’s the official post:

Very pleased to confirm that this eggy friend will be available as part of Season 4's fame path!@AmongUsGame

⚡️ Butt - Level 21
⚡️ Eggy Head - Level 26 pic.twitter.com/zRrJr9atWz
— Fall Guys ???? 4041 ???? 22nd March!
What’s interesting is that they’re also going with the “arm-less” Among Us aesthetic, giving your bean floating hands. This means we should be getting more and more creative skins down the line. After all, it’s the simple and cute aesthetics that is essential to the appeal of both games.

Fall Guys’ new season goes live on March 22. Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout is now available for PC and PS4. It is also expected to come to the Switch and the Xbox Family of consoles sometime later this year. Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout Announces New Season with Among Us Tie-In

Among Us was the surprise hit of 2020. It had players cooperating to find the imposters working against them. Invisible Walls ApS and Versus Evil took that same concept and added it to a new setting in their upcoming game, First Class Trouble.

Watch the gameplay here:

Here’s the official description:

Taking place in an alternate 1950’s universe, First Class Trouble is a multiplayer social deduction game where six players must work together to shut down C.A.I.N., the rogue A.I. of a failing luxury space cruise-liner that is trying to kill them. Two of the six players are chosen at random to secretly play as Personoids, killer humanoids sent by C.A.I.N. to betray the other players.

Cooperation and communication are essential to succeeding in the game. Players have to find ways to perform random tasks while being careful about who among them are humans or Personoids.

It is pretty much Among Us. Except it has updated graphics, and a very interesting alternate take on the 1950s (like the world of Fallout). At some point, you can even say the aesthetics are from BioShock, what with its “futuristic past” designs.

To wishlist the game or find out more about the playtest, you can check out the First Class Trouble Steam page here.

Games started out as light-hearted fun for kids, but some modern developers have been trying their best to elevate the medium. What’s interesting is, EA has given us the official trailer to It Takes Two, a game that would help kids process their parents’ divorce.

Developers Hazelight Studios have been getting a penchant for working on co-op games. Their previous title, A Way Out, was also focused on players working together as prisoners trying to get out of a jail.

It’s very fascinating that they should make a game about a crumbling marriage. On one hand, adults can play it and gain valuable insight for themselves. On the other, kids going through divorce can play it and have a better understanding of their parents.

It’s all about elevating the video game medium, and it looks like It Takes Two is one of those attempts.

Total Mayhem Games announced their complete We Were Here series last month, but now we have a new trailer for their next game called We Were Here Forever.

Here’s the announcement:

You awake inside the sinister Castle Rock with no way out - were you betrayed, or simply not that clever? The We Were Here Series is returning with a new co-op puzzle adventure, coming to Steam, Xbox and PlayStation! Do you and your friend have what it takes to face the dark forces of this realm or will you be trapped…forever?

The original We Were Here game came out on the PC in 2017. But, the series had greater success with their third entry, We Were Here Together, which has a playscore of 8.07.

It’s essentially a co-op puzzler. It encourages you and another player to communicate and solve each puzzle to escape Castle Rock.

With We Were Here Forever, Total Mayhem Games promises to deliver the ‘largest’ entry in the franchise yet. That may have something to do with its entrance to modern-gen consoles. We Were Here Forever brings their co-op multiplayer expertise to the PS5 and Xbox Series X.

We don’t know exactly what ‘larger’ entails, but we should expect the devs to up the ante, especially since they’ve already made three installments in the franchise. What better way to end something if not with a bang?

No release date has been set for We Were Here Forever yet, but you can now wishlist the game on Steam, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S. Want more 2-player games? Find them in our updated list of multiplayer PS5 games.
