Because it does this, we like it a lot. If you like absorbing strategy games, then you probably will too.

In this case, mixing old and new ideas proves to be an intoxicating concoction that fans of Meier's work and strategy gaming in general will likely consume gleefully. Colonization is far more than a simple mod or add-on; it clearly stands alone as a fully fledged blast from the past. This is one walk down memory lane you'll want to take.

Unfortunately, it's not quite the grand resurrection that Colonization deserves. This old star has certainly got itself a facelift, but the Greatest Hits show that's paying the bills isn't being sung with much verve.

Completo, profundo y lleno de alternativas jugables tanto individuales como multijugador, se trata de un título que dejará fríos a los no aficionados al género, pero que resultará muy interesante para los habituales de la estrategia por turnos.

Le jeu s'adresse plutôt aux nostalgiques du premier volet, qui retrouveront sans mal les sensations originales en intégralité ou presque. Quant aux joueurs trop jeunes pour avoir goûté à Colonization à l'époque, ils se voient offrir une belle séance de rattrapage.

Walaupun ada beberapa isu kecil, secara umum game ini mulus, hampir sempurna, dan merupakan peningkatan dari Civilization sebelumnya. Kualitasnya tidak bisa dipungkuri, walau saya setuju harga belinya, Rp600.000, memang cukup tinggi. Bagi penggemar berat seri Civilization, iterasi satu ini sangat layak dicoba. Bagi kalian yang senang permainan strategi dengan bumbu sejarah, waktu luang yang cukup, dan kantung yang tidak tipis, Sid Meier’s Civilization VI sangatlah saya rekomendasikan.

In Colonization, players lead one of four European nations on a quest to conquer and rule the New World. Players will be challenged to guide their people from the oppressive motherland, discover the New World, and negotiate, trade and fight with both the natives and other nations as they acquire power and fight for freedom and independence. New features in this version of Colonization include a brand-new interface, improved diplomacy options and special modding tools.
