9Badland is also not boring: the traps and obstacles change from level to level, and there are always more difficulties involved in overcoming them. Overall, Badland is a very successful app, and is well worth a download if only to see for yourself what the fuss is all about. You may just find it impossible to put down though.
Within the first few hours of play, Brave Frontier unfolds its charm. The story draws players in and you can lose hours hunting for more and better creatures and new tasks. During the course of the game, Brave Frontier’s long waits for energy replenishment, and difficulty defeating strong bosses, cause rare moments of frustration. Nevertheless Brave Frontier comes highly recommended.
The Room Two is a mesmerizing and highly atmospheric 3D puzzle game that will capture your attention right from the beginning, whether you've played the original before or not. The cinematic graphics are outstanding and the moody feel of the game is very engaging. The puzzles are interesting and sometimes quite tricky, although if you are familiar with the genre some may seem a little obvious and easy. The game may not have a lot of replay value, but it offers more than enough entertainment on the first run through to make it a worthwhile purchase. With any luck, additional levels will be added at some point in the future.
Medieval Wars: Strategy & Tactics is a really great game for fans of turn-based strategy. By focusing on the tactical elements, the game could convince even the most hardcore of players and is a great addition to the entire series. Unfortunately, the current game’s main issue is in-app purchases, although this does not intervene drastically in the fun you will have. There is, however, a small, yet constant feeling of uneasiness in the background. A feeling that doesn’t justify a full price of 5.15 euros.
Plants vs. Zombies™ 2 is fun and lives up the original game and I can comfortably recommend it to any player profile. On the other hand, the in-app purchases are a separate issue, but this doesn’t prevent the use of the well-thought out strategy to attain success. All in all, it’s a good application that lives up to the franchise with a few improvements and theme variations, all of which add up to an excellent cure for boredom.
It looks great, is even more fun than the original and offers enough improvements and variety to keep you coming back for more. The online multiplayer is great and the real-time aspect makes it even more exciting. Boss zombies are excellent and the objective-driven missions take a bit of repetitiveness out of just endlessly shooting zombies, although that repetitiveness does still creep in eventually. But as far as freemium games go, Dead Trigger 2 really delivers.
Clash of Clans convinces with great gameplay, which means you will not easily get bored. Quite the contrary: anyone getting started here will probably not put their tablet down for a long time. The campaign map facilitates quick entry into the game and an explanatory guide is also available at the beginning as well. If you like strategy games, but do not always want to wait for days until the next structure is finished, you will quickly find your new favorite game in Clash of Clans. Multiplayer, no necessary costs plus a varied building game with many options - what more could you want?
As mentioned previously, there aren't all that many online games for Android. Arcane Legends is quite simply and awesome MMORPG. There are several play modes (group, solo) and there are quests and elite missions that await completing, so hop to it!
If you liked Temple Run we predict you'll love Subway Surfers—but be warned that you'll probably develop a bit of an addiction. A fun, simple concept and lots of cool features makes this free game a clear winner in our book.
