  • Dead Trigger 2 can be a bit of a free-to-play grind, but really, it’s far from the worst kind of grind – I’d rather be shooting zombies while waiting for wait timers to end than just, well, sitting around and watching paint dry. Plus, the game is so well-made that it’s hard to complain

  • At the end of the day, while Dead Trigger 2 is a nice improvement, it’s still overly repetitive. The new variety of enemies and different mission options are nice, however, the basic structure is still the same, and if you found yourself getting bored quickly with the first one, you probably will with this one.

  • It may be another zombie survival shooter, but Dead Trigger 2 – with its awesome looking graphics, functionality for tablets and phones, and added features and story – gives mobile enthusiasts hope that the gap between mobile and console gaming is shrinking substantially.

  • Dead Trigger 2 is a true successor to the series, improving upon everything that made the first title great. While the gameplay becomes stagnant after a few hours, its so well polished that it hardly matters. With tight controls, beautiful graphics and insane bosses, Dead Trigger 2 is a must have for anyone that has ever taken delight in anything zombie-related.

  • Zombies have inundated practically every area of entertainment with a level of infestation not unlike the fiction surrounding the shambling monsters themselves, but fans of FPS, undead horror, or just plain great games need to pick this up immediately and revel in the gory brilliance.

  • What has been released so far is more than a solid foundation; it bests the first game in almost every way, and reclaims the mobile FPS crown for the second game in a row. Dead Trigger 2 does the impossible again; it creates a real, full-fledged FPS that looks and plays great on a mobile phone, even without an external controller.

  • Dead Trigger fans can breathe a sigh of relief, as this is a very worthy sequel. Even prettier than before, but with the same meaty destruction of the undead, Dead Trigger is a very welcome addition to the App Store.

  • It looks great, is even more fun than the original and offers enough improvements and variety to keep you coming back for more. The online multiplayer is great and the real-time aspect makes it even more exciting. Boss zombies are excellent and the objective-driven missions take a bit of repetitiveness out of just endlessly shooting zombies, although that repetitiveness does still creep in eventually. But as far as freemium games go, Dead Trigger 2 really delivers.

  • Much like Juan Carlo de Shooty, Dead Trigger 2 is ridiculous. Thankfully, it's ridiculous in most of the right ways, and while its brainless ebb and flow of horrible violence does turn to grind in the long run it's satisfying enough that you won't mind. The carnage is satisfying and the violence is meaty. Dead Trigger 2 might not be fresh, but it's solid, dependable fun.

  • Like its progenitor, Dead Trigger 2 is still repetitive, grindy, and more than a little dumb. However, with more distinctive enemies, varied locations, and structured missions, it is a step up from Dead Trigger. It many not be enough to convince naysayers, but it should have fans of the original groaning in approval.
