Zombies and blocks have always gone hand in hand with video games over the course of multiple generations, and Mobile Mischief is set to bring the two genres together with their upcoming Oculus title called Zombie Gunner.

Zombie Gunner is a wave based zombie shooter. Experiment with the 13 different guns, everything from the AK-47 to the Sawn Off Shotgun. Open fire on zombies in three unique locations. Fend off the zombie hoards and see how long you can last!

The trailer looks pretty standard, but hopefully there are more elements to the game that will give Zombie Gunner a lot more variety and replayability. Who knows, with surprise hits like Among Us coming out of nowhere, maybe Mobile Mischief will announce some neat add-ons to the game, depending on how popular it gets upon release (or maybe even years after).

While the games with zombies can sometimes get too queasy for younger audiences with titles like The Last of Us and Resident Evil, Zombie Gunner looks like a fun intro to the genre that won’t leave your young kids with nightmares. You should add this title along with Plants vs. Zombies for kid-friendly zombie games.

Zombie Gunner looks nice and colorful enough, and you only have to dish out $4.99 to get the title.
