Poncle has been dropping hints and clues about the DLC's development, so this news comes as no surprise. Executives from the indie British game studio also confirmed that they had showcased Tides of the Foscari at the WASD Festival in London.
In an Xbox Wire blog, their community manager, Beth Molloy, said they had rolled out the DLC during last weekend's WASD event. In fact, some of you may have played it yesterday without even realizing it. We did warn you that we're rascals!
Molloy wrote.
Tides of the Foscari contains over 30 additions for Vampire Survivors. These included eight new characters and 13 new weapons. It also has a brand new stage named Lake Foscari. [It is the] perfect place to have an average adventure with zero complications,
developers said.
Tides of the Foscari is enchanting—a world where the powerful and cunning rule and kingdoms' fates hang in the balance. The Foscari Academy is at the heart of it all, an elite school that grooms the brightest and most ambitious children to become the wizards, generals, and spies who will shape the realm's future. Molloy, the creator of the game's DLC, draws inspiration from the picturesque landscapes of Western Europe, with its rolling hills and wooded lands, to create an immersive and captivating world. Players can expect to be swept away into a world of magic, intrigue, and adventure with such a rich and intriguing setting.
Aside from the school, players can also explore The Great Forest surrounding it.
Poncle also encouraged fans of Vampire Survivors, and interested players, to visit their booth at the WASD to learn more about the Tides of the Foscari.
