Creators of the award-winning puzzle game Strange Horticulture dropped some exciting news.

Bad Viking, the team behind Strange Horticulture, confirmed a new adventure puzzle in the works. And like their first hit, it will also take place in the whimsical world of Undermere. On May 23rd, Bad Viking and publisher Iceberg Interactive unveiled Strange Antiquities. It is the sequel to the 2022 critically acclaimed puzzle-adventure title, Strange Horticulture, which currently stands as one of the best iOS games.

A release window has yet to be announced.

While still taking place in Undermere, Strange Antiquities is a standalone title. The upcoming PC game is set years after the events of Strange Horticulture. The story centers around a shop dealing in occult antiquities. In the game, players take the role of its custodian.

One day, a sudden influx of ravens circling the town sparks concern among the locals. Occult scholar Verona Green arrives at the shop seeking answers. But a sinister turn of events occurs before she can share her knowledge.

Like its predecessor, Strange Antiquities throws players into exploring Undermere. But instead of plants, they must search and identify powerful artifacts scattered throughout town. These objects may serve as the key to solving the mystery surrounding Undermere. The game also features a companion. In it, players can pet their feline companion every time they return to the shop.
