We may not be getting Crystal Dynamics’ Marvel's Avengers this May, but it looks like things are going smoothly for the new launch this September. Just in, we have a new trailer which marks the launching of pre-orders for one of the year’s most highly-anticipated games.

Here’s the official description:

Marvel’s Avengers is an epic, third-person, action-adventure game that combines an original, cinematic story with single-player and co-operative gameplay. Assemble into a team of up to four players online, master extraordinary abilities, customize a growing roster of Heroes, and defend the Earth from escalating threats.

Like with every other pre-order deal, you’ll be able to get some goods like the Marvel Legacy Outfit Pack, early access, and a lot of other exclusive material. While Beta access looks to be available for every other platform, it’s said that it will come earliest for PlayStation subscribers.

With the success of Spider-Man for the PS4, everyone is wondering what Square Enix has planned for Avengers. After all, franchise is the biggest one in the box office today, so you can expect the same kind of hype is attached when it comes to video games. While I’m not too thrilled that it’s not based on the film’s lore, I’m sure that this opens up the story to have some real impact to players.

Catch Marvel’s Avengers when it becomes available for Xbox One, PS4, and PC on Sept. 4.
