The demo for Bandai Namco’s Little Nightmares sequel is now available and they dropped a new trailer along with it. It’s chock full of the creepy visuals and eerie music that you can expect from the franchise.
The demo is available on the Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PS4, PS5, Nintendo Switch, and PC. Players who also missed out on Little Nightmares will be able to grab it on PC from Jan. 13–17 on the Bandai Namco Europe’s website. The game is available for those who are members of the Xbox Games with Gold.
While modern horror games like Resident Evil and The Last of Us have been reserved for more adult audiences, Little Nightmares has something that can be enjoyed by both adults and young children alike. Horror fans will definitely love the spooky feel of the game, and you can detect a lot of aesthetic inspiration from the likes of Tim Burton akin to The Nightmare Before Christmas and Corpse Bride.
Bandai Namco had launched Little Nightmares back in 2017 to critical acclaim, and they’re ready to come back to this Burton-esque world with this sequel.
Little Nightmares II comes to PS4, Xbox One, PC, and Nintendo Switch on Feb. 11, 2021; it comes to PS5 and Xbox Series X|S sometime later in the year.
