Here's something for fans of the auto-battler genre who are looking to play a new title.

Australian indie game studio Dino Rocket announced they will launch a gameplay preview of their upcoming roguelike auto-battler Kādomon: Hyper Auto Battlers.

The free-to-play prologue will go live via Steam this February 1. Players can expect to encounter 60 Kadomon monsters, including 3 of the Hyper Revolutions, Dino Rocket said. It will also have at least two boss fights - the Queen Bee and Queenstruction, they added.

Kādomon: Hyper Auto Battlers is set for an Early Access release this 2024. But gamers who join the official Kādomon Discord can gain early access to the preview, developers said.

"Our Discord community has been amazing at giving us feedback on the game," Dino Rocket wrote on Steam.

"So to say thank you we're giving them access to the prologue before the official launch," they added.

Kādomon: Hyper Auto Battlers will feature randomly generated regions. In the game, players explore a mysterious land where 'cute and quirky' monsters called Kadomon roam. To face various challenges, such as battle events and fights with mini-bosses, they must assemble a team of formidable Kadomons. In doing so, they need to collect, train, and evolve these Kadomons.

There are 12 types of Kadomon, including several legendary ones. Each Kadomon has its own characteristics and special ability. Players will also have the option to explore and discover secrets in the world of Kadomon.

"The Kādomon world is bustling with secrets, including random events that will change the tide of battle!" developers described. Dino Rocket has partnered with London-based Fireshine Games as its publisher. Fireshine Games' notable titles included Core Keeper and Shadows of Doubt.
