Yellow Brick Studios has announced their first title,

Eternal Strands, an upcoming fantasy action-adventure.

Yellow Brick Games made the announcement alongside a reveal trailer that showcases its gameplay and visuals.

Eternal Strands plays similarly to Shadow of the Colossus and Monster Hunter. Players must battle massive monsters called the Arks and climb on top of them to reach their weak spots.

They play as Brynn, a young and fearless Weaver determined to recover her people’s cultural home. Players explore the once-powerful nation called the Enclave and uncover its mysteries.

What sets Eternal Strands apart from others is its emphasis on physics-based combat. Taking down Arks takes a lot of skill and Brynn must use the environment in her favor. Attacks like magical ice walls and walls of flame are some of the abilities she can master.

As a Weaver of Magic, Brynn's magical mantle acts as an item that enchants her weapons with elemental powers. This is her tool to fend off danger as well as her means of survival. Players can gather armor and weapons from slain enemies to customize the character's look and style.

Eternal Strands boasts a next-generation physics system. It was developed over four years using Unreal Engine 5.

This gives an immersive feel to Brynn’s adventures in this fantasy world. She can create bridges, burn barriers, or use launchers to take her across the skies.

“Our hope with Eternal Strands is to deliver an adventure that brings a sense of fun and excitement to fantasy, while encouraging players to experiment with its systems.” says Mike Laidlaw, CCO at Yellow Brick Games

The developers from Yellow Brick are industry veterans from Ubisoft and BioWare. Eternal Strands, their debit title, is their first foray into triple-A territory as a studio.

A realm of mystery, opportunity, danger, and wonder: the Enclave awaits. Eternal Strands is coming to the PC, Xbox Series X/S and PS5. Yellow Brick has planned a release for sometime in 2025.

The game is available to wishlist on all platforms.
