The DOOM franchise had successfully been rebooted back in 2016, and DOOM Eternal has managed to blow players away when it came out last March. Just in, we have a launch trailer for the first DLC coming to the game called The Ancient Gods – Part One.

Check it out:

Your mission is now your own. The legions of Hell have razed the heavens, threatening to expand their control across dimensions. Unleash your vengeance and battle back to the Maykr’s realm. Defeat powerful new threats, restore order to the heavens and unearth the corruption that has thrown the universe into chaos.

As you can expect from the DOOM franchise, the expansion is chock-full of new creatures to slay and elaborate levels to jump around in. We also get a look at some new arsenal, and I’m sure there’s an overarching story that should give a bit more substance to your murder romp.

The Ancient Gods – Part One actually comes with the Year One Pass for DOOM Eternal, but you can also purchase it as a separate package digitally. We don’t know when the second part comes out yet, but hopefully we can get some kind of tease by the end of the latest expansion.

Doom Eternal: The Ancient Gods – Part One is now available for PS4, Xbox One, PC, and Nintendo Switch.
