The 1.0 edition of the popular, space-themed indie game, Between The Stars, will take off soon.
Developers from Isolated Games revealed the launching data for the full version of Between The Stars. After nearly four years, the strategy game will leave Early Access on March 7.
"We are happy to announce that on March 7th, Between the Stars will leave Early Access," the Barcelona-based studio wrote on Steam.
Released on Early Access in 2019, Between The Stars is a space action game with RPG features that lets players become captains and control an interstellar cruiser. They will participate in real-time space battles and activate special abilities to survive and win in space.
The full version will contain new content and items, developers said. These included a full campaign spanning up to 160 main events. In addition, players can expect more than 200 side events where new characters and adventures await.
For Between The Stars 1.0, captains can also acquire various weapons, abilities, and new ships. From nine, players can now unlock, customize, and upgrade up to 25 spaceships. They can also level up their captains and select more attributes.
Developers from Isolated Games promised to deliver the most polished version of Between The Stars this March 7. "In the last months, we have focused on fixing the remaining bugs, as well as polishing the events to improve the experience to the maximum," they added.
In the meantime, fine-tuning works for the game continue before its full release.
"Currently, we are working hard to polish the game and fix as many bugs as possible. Thank you very much to all of you who have submitted bug reports, they have been a great help to make Between the Stars a better game," Isolated Games said. / ###
