Whatoplay Presents the 10 best PlayStation 4 games of 2017. Let’s check them out right now.

10. First on the list is Night In The Woods

The PlayStation 4 is home for Indie games too. Journey did the same when it shaped the future of independently developed games. This time, Alec Holowka’s Kickstarter-funded game managed to tell a resonating tale of a young girl struggling with life’s biggest questions. Roam around its quaint little town and talk to anthropomorphic creatures with memorable stories to tell. There’s no violent combat involved in this game, nor any fighting involved. It’s just pure storytelling fun.

It lost against Hellblade under the category of “Games For Impact” and walloped against Cuphead charm with being the Best Indie game of the year during this year’s Game Awards. However, it was still notably praised for its thoughtful narrative and mature themes. It has a PlayScore of 8.91

9. Nex Machina

No, it’s not Square Enix’s cyberpunk version of the world. It’s a bullet hell twin stick shooter that leaves you with Carpal Tunnel problems. Created by the dudes behind Resogun, it focuses on the idea of pure action, destruction and competitiveness set in the bleak dystopian future. It is as intense as it is unforgiving. But the game’s tight soundtrack accompanies your journey as you unleash voxel explosions in every corner.

In its cablepunk future, eliminate machines before they take over humans for being the superior race. Use your wide array of weapons to dominate its over 100 levels. It is a satisfying visual trip and the game’s homage to the classic arcade atmosphere is on point.

If you like twin stick shooters, Nex Machina is just for you. It has a PlayScore of 8.91

8. Uncharted: The Lost Legacy

Yeah, we all know Nathan Drake is now retired with his globetrotting business. This spin-off puts the camera to two of the most badass female characters in the game: Nadine and Chloe Frazer.

It’s female power as you help them retrieve a mysterious Indian Relic. The stakes are higher and danger lurks in every corner. It’s a race against time as you maneuver through difficult challenges and jaw-dropping action sequences. It still contains the same explosive charm of the original Uncharted games.

It was well reviewed due to its visual splendor and heavy attention to detail. Knowing Naughty Dog, they put so much effort with their immersion to the game itself. Gunplay and combat is also widely praised due to its sleekness. With its success, we can’t wait for what lies for The Last Of Us II. This game has a PlayScore of 8.92

7. Final Fantasy IX

Once a landmark in its time, Final Fantasy's 9th major entry was one of the leading contenders for the best of the whole series--it gave us a brand new 3D experience. Square Enix brings back this beloved game to their modern console, and with added tweaks.

Control the charming bandit, Zidane Tribal, and his crew of Tantalus thespians as they work together to kidnap the beautiful Princess Garnet and save her from her royal woes. Roam around the land of Gaia, learn about the secret of the Crystal, and destroy an evil force that looms about their world.

Similar to last year’s Final Fantasy VII release, it has enhanced visuals, new HD cutscenes, trophy support and boosters to help players level up and master weapons efficiently. Everything you love about the game is still here. It has a PlayScore of 8.92

6. Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age

The second Final Fantasy game on our list. Compared to IX, this was also one of PlayStation 2’s most iconic games. Return to Dalmasca in this beautiful remaster of the sky-soaring, wall-destroying characters of Final Fantasy XII. Named The Zodiac Age, the game promises to enhance most of the concerns from the community including Game Balance, Remastered Graphics and a whole new challenge mode.

It’s International Zodiac Job System brings a whole new approach to the progression. This puts your characters to unique specialties and skills that was once a missing feature during the original game.

Though the updates seem huge, it’s still pretty much the game game. Get caught in its political conspiracies and difficult boss fights. Don’t listen to Ondore’s lies, because this game has a PlayScore of 8.92

5. NieR: Automata

It’s 2017. The age of sexy witches and wizards are no more. Yoko Taro’s creation gave us a smoking hot android in a tight black-dress. A spin-off to the Drakengard series, enter a desolate future in a post-apocalyptic earth.

Follow group of Android units designed to protect Humanity after an Alien Race conquers the planet. They seek out missions, find leads and fix the cause of the mysterious happenings behind god’s green earth.

As 2B, secure the future of mankind with your badass skillsets in high-flying hack and slash action. Combine heavy and light attacks with precision and style. But that doesn’t where the game shines, with its 26 unlockable endings, uncover the game’s massive secrets and complex story.

It was universally praised for its smart narrative, lovable characters and epic award-winning soundtrack. It receives a PlayScore of 8.97

4. Sonic Mania

Sonic returns! SEGA brings you into a new yet familiar adventure to our favorite blue hedgehog. This latest Sonic game brings back the trademark pixels of his old 2D form.

There will be a handful of new features and surprise that aim to rekindle the nostalgia of the classic.

Sonic Mania brings new life to their renowned stages, running their HD graphics in today's standard 60 frames. Relive the ring-collecting excitement with new bosses and brand new secrets to discover.

A culmination of Sonic's best years brought to modern eyes. Forget about Sonic Forces and gotta
go fast, because this game receives a PlayScore of 8.99

3. What Remains Of Edith Finch

A constant reminder that walking simulators aren’t over yet. After grabbing the Best Narrative during this year’s Game Awards, follow Edith Finch in her quest to find the truth in a collection of short stories that weaves in a puzzle-like experience.

Solve puzzles in the haunted Washington Estate and immerse yourself with the power of the Unreal Engine 4. Search every corner for hidden secrets while feeling the game’s absorbing atmosphere. Find out the reason why you’re the last Finch alive.

Of course, it gained so much respect with its narrative and story. It was Giant Sparrow’s next huge hit after The Unfinished Swan. Who knows what they have instore for us in the future? Edith Finch has a Playscore of 9.00

2. Undertale

Oh, boy. We could just imagine the comment section blowing up right now. An indie role-playing game that doesn’t tell you the difference between a bad and a good choice. Enter a magical world filled with creatures with varied personalities and trademark humor. As a young kid, prepare for a journey that fills you with determination.

Dig into the deepest crevices of this underground dimension and meet memorable characters. It is your choice to engage in its turn-based combat, or befriend them by being patient in each turn.

There is no difference compared to the PC version except for an increase in resolution. It’s still the same Undertale everyone adores. It has a PlayScore of 9.22

Here are the Runners-up before we reveal the number one:

11. Nioh. Travel to the land of the Rising Sun in this brutal Action-RPG from Team Ninja. Exact your vengeance in a horrific version of Japan.
1. And of course, the best PlayStation 4 Game of 2017 is Persona 5.

12. The Mummy Dark Universe Stories

While the latest Fraser-less remake of The Mummy was neither a critical nor a box office success, this movie tie-in seems to make a better job of introducing their strange, and monstrous Dark Universe to the global stage. From the same hands that made the award-winning Oxenfree and Mr. Robot, Night School Studio is putting their own elegant twist to this episodic adventure.

Picking right up after the events of the film, this might not be the best game for the spoiler-averse. Step into the shoes of protagonist Nick Morton as he goes on a globe-trotting journey to decode an ancient spellbook and lift an evil curse. Solve puzzles and uncover mysteries in vivid comic-book style visuals, spread over 12 chapters--with even more coming in the following months.

Unfortunately, navigating through the whole narrative might cost you. Operating under a ticket system, you'll only be receiving free tickets after every six hour or so hours. Although, with its clever banter and stylish visuals, it still might be a worthy investment for some. It has a playscore of 6.9.

11. Asphalt Street Storm Racing

In their latest iteration of their famous Asphalt racing series, they're taking their players to the streets with the adrenaline pumping action of drag racing. Head to the streets and compete against the fastest, and baddest cars in the history of this bloody sport. This time, they set the bar way higher with their upgraded dynamic weather systems, graphics, and content that will make any racing enthusiast's hearts swell with joy.

Race in streets of the world's iconic landmarks, boosting past the lovely and futuristic sights of New York, Paris, and Hong Kong. Ready your pink slips to bet for the best cars, or take part in the fun and compete for the money and the juicy bragging points, against up to three victory-hungry opponents. With their revamped Dynamic Weather system, competition is tougher than ever, as you drive through rain, sleet, and snow. Get a hold of your grip, or risk losing your crown.

While they've definitely pumped up the volume on visuals, it seems Gameloft is losing touch with their player base, with its ridiculous progression system that forces players to consider their rather expensive in-app purchases. That, on top of the rather bland gameplay, gives it a playscore of 7.24.

10. Farming Simulator 18

The latest of three mobile iterations of their popular country life simulation, complete with the loud whirring of heavy agricultural tools, and the sheer tranquility of planting crops and taking care of animals. It's a genre that's existed for years, and it's made even better with the simple touch of realism.

Dive into the green landscapes, and begin your journey using the over 50 farming vehicles and machines from the world's most trusted brands. From Challengers, to Valtras--you name it. Along with their collection of farming tools, is of course, an array of crops to plant and harvest for the new year. Choose from beets, potatoes, wheat, canola--and, for the first time in the series, sunflowers--for you to turn your boring old farm into a beacon of bright yellow hues.

Settle in to your preferred routine, gather your resources, and become the most efficient manufacturer in town--with wool, milk, timber, and so much more. While its not the most realistic game on the market, its upgraded 3D graphics brings you an even detailed visual experience, taking you one step closer to your farmlife dreams. It has a playscore of 7.94.

9. PES 2017 -PRO EVOLUTION SOCCER-

Going head to head against EA Sports' FIFA Mobile is Konami's own Pro Evolution Soccer 2017. While FIFA's been winning the game on the console, it looks like PES has made a more convincing move to the mobile--scoring goals ahead of the competition, with its fluid physics, and smooth transitions.

Using the same engine as their console counterparts, it definitely offers its players a better gaming experience. Head to the premier league, and revel in realistic ball controls and satisfying passes using its responsive and precise touch interface. Compared to FIFA's rather clunky mechanics and controls, PES is a dream for mobile football fans.

In terms of licenses, on the other hand, FIFA still has the upper hand. Still lacking in their own acquired teams and badges, you might be forced to play some nobody team with a whole roster of nobody players. But, with its overall polish and flair, it still takes the spot for the best mobile football experience. Begin your journey to the top, with a playscore of 8.05.

8. SUP Multiplayer Racing

Drift past enemies and crush their dreams of victory in this fast-paced multiplayer racing game. One of the most striking aspects of this game is its vibrant colors, and charming personalities that really seems to capture the energy of its high-speed tracks and gameplay.

In this competitive arena, square off with up to three opponents from all around the world and decide who makes it to the finishing line. Crash into cars, push them off the edge, drift past your rivals, and take the cup! It even has a few emojis for you to flash as you drive by.

As you go along, rubbing salt on wounds, you’ll soon realize that this race is not for the kind of heart. A street race at its core, learn to race dirty to get to the goal. Cement your place on the top spot with an array of awesome upgrades to suit your racing needs.

Fun as it is, it has been reported to have a few bugs and glitches that might distract from the fun it offers. But, other than that, it’s still one hell of ride. It has a playscore of 8.06.

7. Lode Runner 1

If you're one of the special few people on this Earth that remembers Lode Runner from their childhood, then this game from Nexon Studios will be the best thing to happen to you this month. All the cool things from the classic, modernized into one, well-crafted game. We don't usually say this, but if there's one thing that really bothers us, it's the fact that the game is COMPLETELY free.

Created by the folks at Nexon, Lode Runner 1 has over 35 different levels, as well as an earned level creator, and absolutely zero in-app purchases to distract from the game. That is, aside from a link to the rights holder's classic game on iOS. It's basically a giveaway, a gift and fitting tribute to fans of the old puzzler.

A new coat of paint, a cool multiplayer mode, and a splendid time-waster, NEXON's gift to the world will take you right back to the arcade era. Challenge your brain, maneuver through their tricky stages, and compete against players from around the world. While all is well and good, it currently doesn't offer an offline mode. It has a playscore of 8.23.

6. Jaipur: A Card Game of Duels

Watch out Hearthstone! A new card game is taking over the stage. One of the most popular tabletop games, Jaipur isn't your run of the mill, slow-paced boardgame. Earning a recommendation from the German Game of the Year, you can be assured a fast and fun diversion that's perfect for a quick versus round. Trading card games may have been around for a while, but this will have you dealing in literal trading as you exchange goods with a market, and ending up with the most points.

Play as one of Jaipur’s best traders, demonstrating your prowess to the Maharajah by competing against an equal rival. Earn the two Seals of Excellence and you just might find yourself in the King’s Court. While honest exchanges are necessary, you can steal the victory by dabbling in the realm of strategic movements. Measure your risks, and count your luck as you take camels for transportation, and sell goods to the people.

It’s a truly faithful adaptation of the award-winning original, complete with extensive campaign modes, achievements, helpful tutorials, and a local pass-and-play mode. It has a playscore of 8.27.

5. Chroma Squad

One of the quirkiest games this month. This 8bit masterpiece by Saulo Camarotti feels like an unexpected fusion between Power Rangers and Game Dev Tycoon. While the Brazilian studio had its share of copyright disputes with Saban when it first arrived on Kickstarter, that's all hopefully behind them. Since its debut, it's remarkably arranged pixels has brought happiness to tactical RPG fans across the globe.

Play as a humble team of stunt actors who left their jobs to create their very own Tokusatsu company. Your job is to establish your own TV studio. Behind the scenes, you're tasked with hiring actors into the show, and assigning them with special powers and traits. Once the stage is set, though, you'll have to battle the monsters for yourself. For your actors, another stage is just another day in the studio, with their performance in the battles set as measures for your show's ratings.

Fight baddies with all you've got, create the best show, and gain fans across the nation. Despite its lush animations and enjoyable gameplay, Chroma Squad is, unfortunately, a very short game. Hopefully, that'll change soon. It has a playscore of 8.32.

4. Arkanoid vs Space Invaders

While we're on the subject of weird game combinations, Square Enix comes in a clutch with this throwback to two classic Japanese arcade icons, jumbled into one confusing but a sensational new game. And the odd thing is: it totally works. Throw away the shooting part of Space invaders, throw in a ball and a moveable paddle, and you got yourself a game worthy of Japan's biggest studios!

As with the classic arcade game, shoot down waves after waves of aliens with your horizontal ship and hope they don't get you first. With all the newest hardware, the two games get a considerable revamp, packing some shinier stages, better graphics, and a whole new collection of upgrades and varieties. Play against all the different space invaders with their own special traits, and survive the frantic waves with upgrades to your trusty paddle-ship.

With no in-app purchases, and a dazzling amount of content, reviewers didn't really have much to say in the way of criticism of the game. Sure, Square Enix might just be out for our nostalgia money, but with a game of this calibre, it's worth the fall. It has a playscore of 8.4.

3. Old Man's Journey

Weave through a moving tale of travel and memory, as you step in the shoes of an old man who sets out on a grand adventure. If you like artful video games, then this just might be the game for you. But this game doesn't just succeed in terms of art. It delivers on all fronts, with an emotionally affecting story and an effective way to tell it. Navigate through the gorgeous maps, and into the beautiful memories of one, clever old man.

Much like what the title suggests, you guide an old man as he traverses past an arrangement of mountains and hills to fulfill a quest that unveils itself throughout the game. Like an interactive Proustian tale, you'll encounter events and uncover memories that will enlighten players about its varying mysteries.

Like most games with a thoughtful and relaxing atmosphere, it has a tendency to become a little too slow for most. But, in those moments, it's eye-catching visuals gladly take the fall, distracting you long enough to forget the occasionally uncomfortable pace.

Delightful and ultimately rewarding, Broken Rules' Old Man’s Journey receives a playscore of 8.48.

2. Guns of Boom

What's in a name? Apparently not much when it comes to one of the shining gems of today's FPS generation. Despite it's a rather uninspired and nonsensical name, this Lithuania-based game manages to deliver a top-notch multiplayer arena for fans of frantic, team shooters. It's been widely compared to Gameloft's very own Blitz Brigade, with its Team Fortress 2-like visuals and gameplay. But other than these very obvious similarities, GoB is a definitive mobile experience, packed with intuitive shooting mechanics, and a healthy player base--boasting over five million downloads since its May release.

Jump into the fray and choose from its expansive roster of quirky and highly customizable characters and classes. Decimate your opponents in an all-new game mode called "Capture the points", which plays like a King of the Hill game. To make the game easier for mobile users, it has an auto-fire feature that lets you shoot at enemies in your crosshairs. But, of course, that doesn't mean it's a walk in the park. Use your strategic wits to outsmart the competition. Get under cover, or flank them from behind.

It's a great game for casuals and veterans alike. And the best part is, it's all free! It has a playscore of 8.54.

1. Flipping Legend

This game from Noodlecake Studios combines Minecraft-like voxels with the ease of vertical gameplay. And, while it might not look like much compared to the other titles on this list, its easy-to-pick-up and hard-to-master gameplay make it an incredibly addicting purchase that you'll keep coming back to. Of course, when it comes to Noodlecake Studios, the makers of Alto's Adventure, Bitcoin Billionaire, and a whole lot more of some of mobile's classic hits could you really expect any less?

Flipping legend is, much like a whole slew of games on the market right now, an endless runner game with some action elements. But unlike the others, Flipping Legend boasts a well-implemented RPG upgrade system, as well as an unconventional movement style that definitely adds to the fun. Zigzag and jump back through its treacherous trails like a deadly combination of chess and cha-cha. Sure, it's weird, but it makes so much sense once you get the feel of it.

Navigate through the map as Ninja, Mage, or Ranger and more, and kill off the enemies in your way with a barrage of powerful kicks, spells, and attacks. Gain experience, collect coins, and become the legendary pixel-hero you were destined to become. It has a playscore of 8.73.

14. The Mummy Dark Universe Stories

The first among many remade classic monsters, The Mummy was not the box office hit we were expecting it to be. Thankfully, with this movie tie-in, the true glory of the their Dark Universe will leave a better impression on fans worldwide. From the makers of the critically acclaimed Oxenfree and Mr. Robot, Night School Studio is giving their own spin on the adventure.

Similar to their previous atmospheric hits, the game is an episodic venture. For those planning to watch the movie, it might be wise to avoid this for a while. It starts off after the events of the film, following protagonist Nick Morton as he goes on his usual globe-trotting escapades. Decode ancient spellbooks, lift evil curses, and uncover mysteries throughout its artistic comic-book visuals. There's currently 12 chapters to indulge, with developers promising to release more in the coming months.

Unfortunately, the game is haunted by looming in-app purchases. Operating under a ticket system, it's either you wait six hours after every chapter, or pay up. With clever dialog and stylish visuals, it receives a playscore of 6.87

13. Prison Architect: Mobile

No, this isn't another prison escape game. In fact, it's quite the opposite. Putting you on the other side of the coin, Prison Architect is a simulation game that lets you create your very own maximum security prison. Yeah, it's a pretty far-fetched idea, it's a miracle someone thought of it. Making its debut on the PC last 2015, it has been met with wide acclaim as it fuses the dark themes of prison-life with the comical complexities of its management.

Published by Paradox Interactive, Introversion Software delves into this strange simulation subject that lets you oversee the creation of the prison from the building of the very first walls. Aside from construction, you'll also be tasked with managing staff pay, raising morale, and creating the best prison environment.

12. PES 2017 -PRO EVOLUTION SOCCER-

Konami's annual football game is squaring off with EA Sport's FIFA in the mobile hemisphere. Although FIFA has been winning the console game for years, it looks like PES finally has the upper hand with its well-executed port to the mobile that's miles ahead of EA's FIFA Mobile.

Making use of the same engine as their console games, it offers its players a smoother gaming experience. The road to the premier league is made even better with realistic ball controls, satisfying passes, and a responsive virtual interface. Side by side with FIFA's clunkier controls and money-making schemes, it still proves itself worthy of the attention.

However, if there's one thing that brings PES down, it's the lack of respectable licenses compared to FIFA's long list of acquired teams and badges. While you might be forced to to play using fictional teams and players, the game's overall polish and flair still makes it one of the best mobile football experience with a playscore of 7.3.

11. Asphalt Street Storm Racing

With their move to drag racing, they're taking it to a whole new level. The enhanced graphics, added content, and upgraded dynamic weather systems will surely make any racing fan drool.

Travel to the streets of the world's most beautiful cities, and zip past the lovely sceneries of Paris, New York, and Hong Kong. Watch the excitement unfold with pink slips to bet on your favorite cars, or get right into the action as you compete against three other rivals for the money and the juicy bragging points. But alas the road to victory isn't as clear this time, with their Dynamic Weather system bringing you rain, sleet, and storm to challenge your skills.

While it's a perfectly serviceable game with great presentation, reviewers have criticized its lack of originality and ridiculous progression system that's haunted many of Gameloft's games. For that, it receives a playscore of 7.31.

10. Dead Age

Putting a fresh new twist on mobile zombie survival, Dead Age brings you right in the center of the action. Veering away from the usual mindless shooting of most zombie games, this game adds another layer of gameplay, sprinkling some strategy and roguelike elements, along with the threatening risk of permanent death.

Every playthrough is a harrowing struggle for survival. The food is scarce, injuries need to be tended, and the smell of death is in the air. Increase your chances of survival by forming alliances, learning some necessary skills, scavenging for supplies.

Aside from gameplay, it has also been praised for its impeccable, non-linear storytelling. Throughout your journey, you’ll be forced to make some hard decisions that will affect the events in the game. Start rivalries, spark some romance, become the hero, and unlock one of six different endings. It has a playscore of 7.76.

9. Farming Simulator 18

The latest in their line of mobile farming simulators since Farming Simulator 16's release in 2015.
8. Skullgirls

Lab Zero's indie fighting game from has found success on the PC and consoles since its initial release in 2012. Published by LINE, the 2D fighting game finally makes it to the mobile platforms as a high-calibre free-to-play RPG no less than five years after its initial release. While the mobile hemisphere is already home to few fighting game ports, Skullgirls is reportedly one of the few games that made proper use of the smartphone's touch interface.

Its fighting mechanics has been based on Marvel vs Capcom 2, which might explain its many similarities--such as tag-team battles, character assists, and combos. Step into the high energy arenas of three different game modes, and choose from eight of their roster of characters with their own elemental quirks.

Using developer Alex Ahad’s hand-drawn designs, it boasts a distinct and recognizable art-style that leans towards a steampunk fantasy. Although it was criticized by some for its limited fighters, its complex fighting mechanics and wonderful art style gives it a playscore of 8.1.

7. FRAMED 2

Created by the powerful hands of videogame god, Hideo Kojima, FRAMED has won dozens of awards since its debut in 2014--not the very least, bagging that year's Game of the Year. Since then, fans have been screaming for another game. Three years after, it finally gets a well-deserved sequel, backed by the equally inventive Loveshack.

Return to the silhouette-filled world of the classy noir puzzler, and enjoy the thrill of rearranging panels into their respective narrative place. While it keeps all the best parts of the previous game, this new sequel adds a ton of novelty to the beloved original.

Sail off to the shores of China, meet your new monochromatic companion, and master the tricks of the new generation--with reusable, and rotatable panels. FRAMED 2 may have a lot of differences, but its still has the very same fun and satisfying puzzle-solving as its original. It has a playscore of 8.17.

6. Lode Runner 1

If you're one of the many fans of the classic puzzle platformer, then Nexon Studios latest project will definitely bring a smile to your faces. Culminating everything you loved from the arcade platformer, Nexon puts a modernized twist to the beloved game.

Even with its cute, cartoon look, Lode Runner 1 plays much like the original, even going so far as to include their classic stages. But despite all its offerings, the game is completely free. Which is one of the weird things about it. No hidden fees, no ads, and no in-app purchases--save for a link to Tozai’s Lode Runner Classic on the iOS.

This gift to the world offers over 35 different levels, a built in level creator, and a cool multiplayer mode. Jump right back into the arcade era, and challenge players from all around the globe, and maneuver through its complicated stages.

Being given away for free, there's really not much to criticize the game on. However, if there's one bad thing to say about it, it's that there's currently no offline mode available, which is a bit of a bummer. Then again it has a playscore of 8.21.

5. Monument Valley 2

With its bright maps, vibrant colors, and mesmerizing gameplay, Monument Valley has cemented itself onto the mobile Hall of Fame, winning the hearts of gamers and critics all around the world. With fans fawning over their creation, thousands have cried for another game since its debut last 2014. In this touching sequel, help Ro as she guides her daughter through the dizzying twists and slopes of their mysterious valley. The game is as beautiful as ever, with new MC Escher like maps and architecture, and an inviting collection of atmospheric music.

While the first game was a masterpiece on its own, it did lack a certain drive to make players keep forging on. However, with the new tale of family and mother hood, it's a more complete puzzle experience. It has a playscore of 8.27.

4. Old Man's Journey

Another example of videogame as art, take a trip into the mind memory of a wizened old man as he steps out of his humble home and into a grand adventure. For those who enjoy a visually pleasing and enjoyable adventure game, this just might be the perfect fit. Weave through its gorgeous, hand-drawn styles, and into the man's poignant memories.

As he sets out for his journey, guide the old man past an increasingly complicated arrangement of mountains and hills, and fulfill a mysterious quest. It plays almost like the stories of Marcel Proust, as you encounter events, interact with your environments, and trigger remembrance with each step.

Along with the strong artstyle, its charming animations also make a pretty good job of drawing you in. But, one common criticism about this Broken Rules' game is its occasional dip in pace, with sequences that drag on for just a minute too long. But in these moments, its gorgeous visuals gladly take the fall. Delightful, and endlessly engaging. It receives a playscore of 8.3.

Your job is to establish your own TV show.

Despite its lush animations, and enjoyable gameplay, Chroma Squad is unfortunately a very short game. Hopefully, that'll change soon because it has a playscore of 8.32.

2. Art of Conquest (AoC)

There's million things to do in the world of AoC. And while it's more MMO than anything else, Lilith Games is making sure you enjoy every minute of it. It has a playscore of 8.37.

1. Flipping Legend

For a game that’s just been released last June, this game has been making waves and zigzags throughout our most recent mobile lists, and our beloved mobile gamers. While it’s not much for the eyes to see, it has proved its worth among the this month’s best games with its easy-to-pick up and hard-to-master formula. From one of mobile's most well-known studios, Noodlecake is adding another feather to their cap with this addicting arcade game.

While it seems like we're seeing the decline of the endless runner genre, what with the amount of generic clones on the stores right now. Flipping Legends distinguishes itself from the others, with a well-implemented RPG system and an unconventional movement system. All those elements combined, creates an outstandingly unique game that's both simple and strategically challenging.

Just like Crossy Road, it has comical voxel visuals that fit with the theme of the game. Dive into the deep, dark world full of bandits and zombies, and squash them all as mage, ninja, ranger, and whole array unlockable characters. Collect coins, level up, and rid the world of baddies one spell at a time. It has a playscore of 9.31.
