Fantastic news for fans and players of the new sandbox city-building mobile game BRIXITY.
Developers Devsisters just rolled out BRIXITY's first-ever content update. Called 'Intercity Express', the new season brings in new characters, new buildings, and even a new story to the game.
They also confirmed that the new update will introduce players to a new system for earning seasonal Brix. The ‘Intercity Express’ season contained 10 new Pipos. These included a space railroad engineer named Alistair Watson, and watchmaker Mabel Alves.
These Pipos play critical roles in the new story that unfolds in the newly completed train station. The story involves a mysterious train that arrives at the station, carrying secrets and surprises for the players.
The update also added 20 new special Brix, including two S-Rank Brix. These are the 'Limited Express Train Locomotive’ and ‘High-Speed Train Locomotive’. They can be used to build train tracks between buildings and trains passing over them.
The 'Intercity Express' also expanded the Earth Restoration Center, where players can clean up polluted sites and unlock new commercial, residential, and public buildings.
To make earning new seasonal Brix easier, developers decided to bring in the Seasonal Brix Mileage System. This new Brix-earning system allowed players to accumulate seasonal miles that they could use to buy this season’s special Brix. The mileage can only be used for that season and will be converted to regular Brix mileage once the season ends.
In addition to new content, the update also features four special events where players can win limited edition in-game items.
BRIXITY made its debut on Android and iOS devices last August.
The game tells the story of a group of quirky aliens called Pipos who help players restore Earth after a disaster.
Since its release, BRIXITY received critical and commercial success. It has a playscore of 8.2. / ###
