- Silly-and-serious visual novel sequences, fun characters with markedly different fighting styles, and tons of customization round out the package, and with two full stories to play through, there's enough game here to outlast a wardrobe full of outfits. More than just the world's most effective PSA for battle armor, Senran Kagura Burst is a lovely, lighthearted brawler that's well worth a round.
Morgan Sleeper · Nov 25, 2013 Reviewed on 3DSRead full review - Never mind the uncomfortably dubious gender politics, the biggest offence here is the inability to capitalise on rock-solid action foundations.
Matthew Castle · Feb 28, 2014 Reviewed on 3DS - Senran Kagura Burst is silly. Its presentation is silly, its combat is silly, and its whole reason for being is silly. Yet somehow, it’s compelling. Alongside the gratuitous boob and panty shots there’s a nice pair of intertwining stories here with amicably fleshed-out characters. Next to the ability to choose the colour of your girl’s skirt is a combat system that ditches difficulty in favour of ludicrous high-score combo strings.
James Bowden · Feb 28, 2014 Reviewed on 3DSRead full review - Bouncy, flouncy, and quite a bit of fun, this over-the-top brawler delivers equal measures of fan service and classic brawling gameplay with wanton glee
Matthew Diener · Nov 20, 2013 Reviewed on 3DSRead full review - Senran Kagura Burst is at times, fun, frantic, and enjoyable. But its repetitiveness takes a toll, and the amount of fan service not only made me feel uncomfortable, it exposed the game's wasted potential.
Jorge Loureiro · Mar 12, 2014 Reviewed on 3DSRead full review - Un gioco con ammiccanti momenti di erotismo all’acqua di rose, che pur senza sconfinare nell’esplicito o proporre contenuti scabrosi, si rivolge a un pubblico maturo.
