- Running a giant factory on an alien planet might not sound like the most exciting idea but the console version of Satisfactory is one of the best video games of the year.

Satisfactory has the perfect balance of tediousness allowing the game to feel rewarding when creating new factories. However, having only one map with no randomised material spawns will shorten its longevity, (as of now), as there are no plans for a new map or any additional expansions of the current map. This is disappointing to see, as even though there is a lot to explore and thousands of hours that could easily be put into a single save file, players will likely become bored of it over time, and the game will slowly enter a decline in players. If it wasn't for this, I could have comfortably scored the game a 10/10. I must admit that I have put in an embarrassing amount of hours into the game, and will likely continue to do so. I love the experience it offers and highly recommend others to try it out for themselves.

It’s at the tippy top of the automation genre and this is thanks to the hard work Coffee Stain Studios has been implementing over the years, implementing many a quality of life and following player advice. What it’s resulted in is some of the most satisfying automation and resource pipeline mechanics and gameplay I’ve ever experienced in games. It’s as deep as you want it for the hardcore players or as accessible and palatable as you need for the newbies. Additionally, its deliberately bespoke alien world is breathtaking in design and visuals, filled with many bite-sized adventures to be had no matter how few steps you take from your camp. Satisfactory is the final frontier for co-operative crafting and exploration games for me. Give it a chance and it might just be yours too.

Brau3er · Sep 19, 2024 Reviewed on PCRead full review - Ci troviamo davanti a un gioco speciale, creato da un team che prima di tutto è riuscito ad allacciare col suo pubblico un rapporto utile e sempre propositivo e questo, ma non solo questo, ha permesso a Satisfactory di diventare la meraviglia che è oggi. Ripulito da quasi tutti i bug, più bello graficamente, persino con una trama, finalmente completa da ogni punto di vista, il gioco Coffee Stain conferma tutte le qualità dell'accesso anticipato e ne aggiunge un'altra valanga a corredo. Ha persino un'ottima colonna sonora, è anche multiplayer, è tradotto in italiano, non ha microtransazioni e costa la metà di quanto si vede in giro. Satisfactory è un gioco imprescindibile e potete trovarlo sia su Steam che su Epic Games Store.

Voor spelers die genieten van het optimaliseren van productieketens en het bouwen van grootschalige projecten, biedt deze game eindeloze mogelijkheden. Hoewel de repetitieve taken in de beginfase wellicht wat saai aan kunnen voelen, wordt dit meer dan goedgemaakt door de belonende progressie en de indrukwekkende schaal van wat je kunt bereiken met alle dingen die je vrijspeelt. De game is niet voor iedereen weggelegd, maar voor de spelers die ervan houden, is Satisfactory voor zowel solo-spelers als groepen een verslavende ervaring die uren aan voldoening biedt.
