  2024 está siendo un año espectacular para los juegos independientes y si bien, sabemos perfectamente que en realidad, Pizza Tower fue lanzado originalmente para PC en 2023, para quienes preferimos ampliamente jugar en consolas, éste se siente como un estreno en toda la extensión del término. Por lo tanto, podemos considerar que el título de Tour de Pizza solo viene a sumar a lo que esta muy especial escena del medio está haciendo. La manera en la que presenta a cada uno de sus elementos es simplemente brillante, pues a pesar de que es clara la inspiración que toma, en ningún momento se siente como un juego que se quede estancado en eso. Todo el tiempo se están haciendo esfuerzos de diferentes tipos para alcanzar una personalidad propia, objetivo que se logra con creces.

  Pizza Tower is the rare sort of game that improves on its inspiration in nearly every way, building upon many of Nintendo’s Wario Land ideas with impressive results. This is an incredibly satisfying, creative, and addictive platformer that’ll keep you busy for a long time if you want to 100% it. We’d highly recommend this to anyone who loved the old Wario Land games, or to anyone who’s looking for a new platformer with a high skill ceiling and lots of technical depth. Pizza Tower has definitely got it where it counts - platformers don’t get much better than this.

  Pizza Tower is a very special 2D platformer that transcends its inspirations and becomes something even greater. It’s a short ride, and it’ll be most appealing to those who are keen to restart levels in an effort to improve their score, but even if that’s not you, there’s a ton to like here. It is one of the most straight up fun and refreshing platformers I’ve played in recent memory, sporting an unforgettably unique art style, excellent animations, immensely rewarding platforming, wonderfully creative level design, a joyful sense of humor, and one of the best soundtracks of the year so far. Move over Wario, Peppino Spaghetti is-a number one now.

  Way Too Many Games

  It was a bizarre mixture between Wario Land and Ren & Stimpy that worked a lot better than I could have imagined. Some levels annoyed the hell out of me, and the game isn’t very long, but it was a pretty enjoyable ride until the very end.

  Pizza Tower is an unashamed ode to Wario Land—but in my eyes it has eclipsed it. Before, I was eagerly awaiting a new entry in Nintendo's series, but now I'm not too fussed, because it's hard to imagine it being as inventive and exciting as this imitator. It takes what made that series so great, and expands on it tenfold.

  Este es el año de los grandes remakes, de volver al pasado y perfeccionar lo que estaba ahí. De alguna manera, Pizza Tower hace eso con la saga Wario Land. Pero a pesar de, o quizás gracias a no tener los derechos de la saga homenajeada ha habido que crear, que imaginar. El resultado es un juego con su propia personalidad, capaz no solo de estar cómodo junto a su inspiración sino sobre ella.

  Pizza Tower è una succulenta fetta di platform 2D al cardiopalma. Prendendo i lati più strani dalla classica serie Wario Land, guidare Peppino Spaghetti in livelli sempre più curiosi e folli sarà una delle esperienze più divertenti dell'anno. Se cercate un rimedio alla mancanza di quel sapore anni Novanta nei vostri videogiochi, Pizza Tower farà sicuramente per voi.
