- Coming into it, I expected quite a lot from MotoGP 24, seeing as it is the officially licensed game of such a popular motorsport, and this is certainly not Milestone’s first rodeo. Well, the Italian developers have certainly delivered, with a number of features (namely the Guided setup system and approach to Career Mode) that a lot of other racing sims should certainly take inspiration from. Although there still needs to be a proper tutorial present in order to entice the most bike-shy of gamers, if you are a fan of MotoGP, or are interested in the sport, then MotoGP 24 is the best way to get involved virtually.

Milestone révise sa copie et nous offre ce qui s’apparente le plus à un millésime incontournable pour sa série en corrigeant les principaux défauts pointés du doigts sur la version précédente. Il en résulte un jeu au gameplay extrêmement plaisant, procurant de très bonnes sensations en plus d’une immersion particulièrement réussie grâce à la multitude de détails et de contenu général. Les déçus du passé auront de quoi satisfaire leurs attentes manquées en 2023.

Dit gevoel overheerst vooral en dit komt omdat er in de modi zelf bitter weinig nieuwigheden te bespeuren zijn. Het toevoegen van de transfermarkt wordt zeker warm onthaalt, al merk je daar gedurende een seizoen niet al te veel van. Tijdens de races zijn de adaptieve moeilijkheidsgraad en de nieuwe stewards een goede toevoeging die af en toe met nog wat kinderziektes kampen, maar die wel zeer welkom zijn. Heb jij MotoGP23 echter nog liggen, dan raden we aan om nog een jaartje te wachten omdat de vernieuwingen en verbeteringen niet té significant zijn. Een paar jaar uit de running geweest? Dan is dit een prima aankoop, want het is de beste MotoGP-game op dit moment.

Esta nueva entrega sigue generando el mismo y genuino disfrute a los mandos gracias a su pulido gameplay, pero sus novedades se sienten superficiales e incluso algo perezosas. No hay apenas innovación más allá de pequeños añadidos. ¿Para qué cambiar de moto si todo se siente igual?

But while new features and increased realism are appreciated, they rarely feel like meaningful additions to last year’s game, leaving MotoGP 24 sometimes feeling more like an update of MotoGP 23 than a whole new title.
