  There’s a lot to like about Laika – Aged Through Blood with its motorvania concept that absolutely delivers, offering a fresh and compelling take on the often staid metroidvania formula.

  Laika: Aged Through Blood ha logrado dar un nuevo giro de tuerca -o moto- a un género tan explotado estos últimos años como el metroidvania, valiéndose de su propia fórmula y una personalidad muy marcada. Solo por eso ya vale la pena. Pero lo mejor de todo es que funciona. Y convence aún más cuando se llega a dominar la moto por completo, encadenando piruetas y combos fastuosos que ni imaginábamos al inicio de esta aventura de violencia y venganza. Su diseño artístico hace el resto, con una puesta en escena muy cuidad y con mucho estilo. ¿Tiene pegas? Claro que sí; debido a su propia fórmula, el backtracking no es todo lo satisfactorio que nos gustaría, además de contar con unos jefes algo reiterativos que podrían haber dado mucho más de sí. Sin embargo, a poco que nos guste el género, con Laika: Aged Through Blood no fallaremos.

  Laika is not an easy game to enjoy. It’s a story, at its core, about how dehumanization of an enemy is a necessary step preceding genocide — about how people will become monsters if left with no other options. Most importantly, though, it’s about how cycles of violence can only end if people make the decision to not pull a trigger, no matter how difficult that might be. It’s a brutal, uncompromising journey, and it should have been one of the best titles of 2023, even if reality hadn’t decided to make it painfully relevant.

  Laika: Aged Through Blood is a haunting metroidvania unlike any other. The blend of breakneck motorcycle combat and a harrowing story of revenge smash together to create an artistic experience few games this year can rival.

  Enter a sand strewn post-apocalyptic world in Laika: Aged Through Blood. Drive, jump and fight your way across the desert as you ride your way through an epic story. This "motorvania" game has a huge, openly explorable world filled with NPCs to meet, secrets to discover and enemies to destroy.

  Laika: Aged Through Blood è un gioco semplicemente imperdibile. Ha una struttura familiare e insieme innovativa, ha un sistema di combattimento ad alto rischio, ma con salvataggi frequenti e racconta una storia struggente e forte. L'idea di esplorare un metroidvania in sella a una moto è fresca e avvincente, e tutto il gameplay a base di acrobazie per ricaricare le armi è una sfida approcciabile che aumenta di intensità in modo regolare.
