  Final Fantasy V is one of the best games in the series, with a strong cast of characters and great gameplay. This remake is a nice improvement, but it still feels like a 16-bit game, despite the hefty price.

  The price tag may scare you initially, but there’s enough content to justify the price. Besides, we used to pay close to a hundred dollars for these games back in the ‘90s.

  It's always hard to review these classic FF titles on iOS because they're always essentially ports of ports of the originals. Just as was the case with the previously released iOS ports, Final Fantasy V is a no-brainer if you're an RPG fan and have not had the pleasure of playing it. The story, job system, and classic Final Fantasy gameplay are strong in this title and showcase the golden age of Squaresoft 16-bit RPGs.

  Final Fantasy V is a gem of a game that is worth a revisit, and this is an incredibly well done port that’s had a lot of love and care put into it. You can literally spend hours just discovering all of the secrets and contingencies that the game has. This is a game that every Final Fantasy fan should play, and even hardcore role-players new to the franchise will find a lot to love. This is a must have.

  It's something that might be completely alien to fans of the FMV-fests of the past decade or so, but Final Fantasy V is the perfect time capsule for showing just how fun JRPGs could be in the early '90s. Final Fantasy V might not represent the high point of the series, but Square Enix's sympathetic graphical overhaul and that ever-engrossing job system mean that it feels surprisingly fresh in 2013.

  Final Fantasy V regresa a la actualidad con una re-edición del remake de 2006 para Game Boy Advance, con algunas mejoras a nivel gráfico y la obligada adaptación al interfaz táctil. Si bien ofrece una experiencia retro sin igual, su control puede resultar ?en algunas ocasiones? algo incómodo y frustrante, sobre todo en las secciones de exploración, que no son pocas.
