  The Dynasty Warriors franchise is an impressive dynasty in and of itself. Fans who’ve stuck with the series since its inception argue its merits, but I’ve grown tired of the repetitive action, enemies, and environments (I swear that I’ve seen some of this game’s levels while playing a couple of its prequels).

  At the end of the day this is a title that will only appeal to hack and slash fanatics, and will push away many people looking for something more. For fans its the typical Dynasty Warriors release, but for just about everyone else it’s just an average action title begging for your purchase

  Longtime Dynasty Warriors fans don't need a review to tell them to buy this game. They're caught up in the story, some of them probably really love hacking and slashing, and, well, good for them. For the average gamer, however, this is a long, tedious, repetitive slog through hundreds of faceless enemies

  Dynasty Warriors 7 is still a really great game that has potential to suck up hours upon hours of a hack n' slash fan's time. Each of the four story modes will take a few hours to complete, and Chronicle Mode will heap several hours on top of that. If you decide to level up characters and collect rare weapons, you'll be spending even more time with it. Taking that into consideration, a few of the lazy decisions are at least a tiny bit forgivable.

  With the minute-to-minute play cycle of Dynasty Warriors so fully developed already, it's a disappointment to find very little refinement to long-view progression. Dynasty Warriors 7 may be a bulky proposition, but for all the overwhelming scale, it doesn't offer much of a journey

  Almost every aspect of gameplay is improved upon and despite obvious corners being cut, there are no major issues that are game ruiners. For casual hack 'n' slash fans then Dynasty Warriors 7 could be a bit too labour intensive and time consuming for your liking. You really need to have a genuine interest in the subject matter on display to get the most out of the game.

  Dynasty Warriors 7 no es más que un Dynasty Warriors más, es decir, la misma fórmula recocinada hasta el infinito que a algunos encanta pero a la mayoría termina cansando. Es increíble como Tecmo Koei sigue sacando entrega tras entrega y los cambios en la mecánica son casi inexistentes
