- If you really enjoy strategy RPGs, particularly the Disciples series, you might enjoy Disciples III. There's a bunch of content here to play, but you should really try the demo first to see if it will keep your attention.
Kristine Steimer · Aug 31, 2010 Reviewed on PCRead full review - There isn't enough depth to Disciples III to keep things exciting throughout the whole campaign, but the reliable rhythms of exploration and combat offer a steady supply of languid satisfaction. The stellar visual design is a treat even after you've poured tens of hours into the campaign, but even hulking beasts with human torsos coming out of their backs lose their edge somewhere along that lengthy journey.
Chris Watters · Aug 04, 2010 Reviewed on PCRead full review - Disciple III's lengthy campaign is rounded out by a hot-seat multiplayer mode that lets you duke it out with pals on the same PC through a limited selection of maps. Considering the main game has its share of issues, dragging a friend over for a multiplayer match is going to feel like more of a punishment than a good use of a free afternoon.
NATHAN MEUNIER · Jul 29, 2010 Reviewed on PCRead full review - It’s called hot seat multi-player, because you have to give up your seat in front of the PC to accommodate the other players. It works, albeit painfully slowly, and may be the only thing that saves this game. I wonder why the developers gave this feature so little consideration. I guess it’s in keeping with the rest of the game.
Cole Smith · Jul 13, 2010 Reviewed on PCRead full review - With the majority of the game revolving around that system, it’s a shame that the developer couldn’t polish things to a higher shine, as the rest of the material deserves at least a little better. For all its faults though, Disciples is certainly something unique, and the quality of the overworld sections and general strategising may well be enough for a crowd that will inevitably seek it out anyway.
Emmanuel Brown · Jul 23, 2010 Reviewed on PCRead full review - Recommending it over other satisfying and substantial titles encamped in the same neck-of-the-genre-woods is a little trickier, especially when those titles are now as cheap as, say, Heroes of Might and Magic V. What I can't bring myself to do, under any circumstances, is seriously suggest anyone buys this game before sampling the dippy delights of King's Bounty.
Tim Stone · Jul 08, 2010 Reviewed on PCRead full review - Disciples III presents the user with three playable races, The Empire, a human faction that is comprised of noble knights, rangers mages etc.

About the game
Trailers & Screenshots:
The player takes on the role of the Lord of one of the fantastic races of Nevendaar in their enduring struggle to establish the reign of their respective god over the world. Advances in game play and the addition of new elements make Disciples III richer and more interesting. The visual design follows the ominous style of the Disciples world, but now all of the game environments and individual units are in stunning real-time 3D.
Developer: Akella
