Anger Foot has a stylized cartoon-like aesthetic similar to what you would find on Adult Swim. With smooth gameplay and an exotic world, Anger Foot is a must-buy.

But if you want a hilarious, action-packed experience that lets you channel your inner rage through the power of your foot, then Anger Foot is the perfect game to kick back and relax with (by which I mean unleash a torrent of destruction, but you get the idea). The range of enemies, the collection of shoes with their various special abilities and the speedrun component of Anger Foot will keep players heading back for more stomping fun.

Un FPS donde patear puertas y enemigos resultan tan o incluso más importante que el empleo de las armas, en niveles cortos y directos, diseñados de manera que evocan a los de Hotline Miami. De duración en torno al minuto, y planteados con muy mala baba, dichos niveles son un ejercicio de frenetismo y visceralidad. La verdadera miga del juego viene por parte del uso de distintas zapatillas que otorgan habilidades únicas, haciendo que la mera de enfocar un nivel sea radicalmente distintas en función del calzado que portemos. Esto, junto con la necesidad de cumplir determinados requisitos en los niveles a mayores de completarlos para obtener las estrellas necesarias para desbloquear las zapatillas, potencian la apuesta del juego por la rejugabilidad y la experimentación. Para quien busque un desafío de altura, guste de los juegos diferentes y de las ambientaciones psicodélicas y bizarras, Anger Foot es un caballo ganador, el cual además ofrece una potente banda sonora hardcore

Falling into a hallway hypnosis of garish ’90s aesthetics and murderous footwork, I don’t have to think — I just react. It’s when I’m forced to slow down and hear a joke or fight a boss that requires pauses in the pace that I begin to notice the seams. While these moments aren’t dealbreakers, they’re unfortunate stumbles in an otherwise sure-footed experience.
GC Staff · Jul 31, 2024 Reviewed on PCRead full review - À son meilleur, Anger Foot est un hommage réussi à l’illustre titre dont il s’inspire, Hotline Miami, avec une habile adaptation en vue FPS. Le gameplay y est tout aussi psychédélique et grisant, avec une musique (toutefois tristement limitée) qui nous permet de littéralement prendre notre pied dans cette virée à tombeaux ouverts sous LSD à Merdiqueville. L’expérience vire cependant assez régulièrement au bad trip en raison d’une visée particulièrement frustrante d’imprécision. Même constat au niveau d’un rythme cassé par le fait que nous devons avancer à tâtons, au risque de mourir bêtement et recommencer en boucle le même niveau et rapidement être lassé du jeu, comme notamment contre des boss mémorables pour les pires raisons. Anger Foot a donc un peu de mal à savoir sur quel pied danser, et ce ne sont pas la vingtaine de paires de chaussures à collecter, dont la plupart assez inutiles, qui lui permettront de trouver un tempo aussi maîtrisé que le magistral titre de Dennaton Games, pourtant 12 ans son aîné.

In fact, it’s a clever and fast-paced shooter with excellent pacing, surprising depth, and a lot of humor. It doesn’t outstay its welcome and it’s reasonably replayable. If you’re looking for a bit of foot-fueled adrenaline, Anger Foot fits the bill.
