19Airhead is a pleasant and immediate video game, with a profound artistic direction, beautiful content and a precise game design that goes straight to the goal. The platforming part is not the real essence of the work, but rather the puzzles and Head's abilities are. Furthermore, the pairing between the two characters is definitely a great addition and might even bring you to tears. A truly passionate work.
Spoiled by overwhelming game mechanics and poor English localisation, Chronique des Silencieux could have been the next adventure game to truly push the genre forward, but instead its fun is marred by obtuse gameplay. Hardcore detectives will still find something to love, but this isn’t one for casual players.
New Cycle is a great, complex, and engaging title that maintains many fan-favorite elements of the genre. While it fails to bring something new to the table, it still manages to impress with its overall visual setting and graphic style.
A great comeback to the Prince of Persia series with a unique story and an amazing world full of secrets and puzzles that are fun and exciting to explore
If you needed an excuse to dive back into VS, then the Emergency Meeting DLC is perfect, even if you’re not familiar (or even a fan) of Among Us. With tons of new content, some nifty new additions in the big Polus Replica map and tons of stuff which will also work greatly in co-op mode, Emergency Meeting will make the fans of Vampire Survivors quite happy. Except for the impostor, of course.
Trinity Fusion is a satisfying roguelite action game with tons of content, gorgeous graphics and a tasty soundtrack.
My Little Blood Cult: Let's Summon Demons: A fishing mobile game that lacks too much content to be fun or even playable and falls short despite its great visuals and audio.
All in all, while Don’t Die in the West features a beautiful world with fun character design and enough content to keep you engaged, the vast amount of bugs and poorly implemented multiplayer leave much to be desired.
Ebenezer and the Invisible World: The lovely absurd concept of a metroidvania in the world of Charles Dickens gets hindered by game breaking bugs and dodgy controls.
My Time at Sandrock: An immersive storyline with unique and engaging characters, combined with an amazing depth of materials and quests to unlock and complete makes this game one of the best life-sims of 2023.
