  Spoiled by overwhelming game mechanics and poor English localisation, Chronique des Silencieux could have been the next adventure game to truly push the genre forward, but instead its fun is marred by obtuse gameplay. Hardcore detectives will still find something to love, but this isn’t one for casual players.

  Ultimately, Chronique des Silencieux is a fun yet challenging, story-rich point-and-click isometric game, with 10 to 12 hours of playtime, dripping with story, interestingly unique characters, and beautiful designs, which is well worth playing. Uncovering the story’s mystery is fun and fulfilling and keeps players interested in the next step to uncovering the truth.

  If you’re looking for an authentic detective experience filled with mystery, then Chronique des Silencieux will be right up your alley. There’s quite literally no other game like it out currently. That being said, I’d wait for a few months before picking it up so that the bugs can get ironed out.
