I have played this game when I got sick. I played through all bosses and up to the very end, this game is fun! Do not be afraid if you are new into turn based RPGs. This game is a great entry if you are new to the Shin Megami Tensei series. For the veterans to the series, this may be easy for you.
There is nothing special on the demon collecting on this game. Mostly are similar to the demons you can collect on the previous SMT games.

Graphics when on handheld will drop in frames when exploring the demon world. I recommend playing it on a big screen. For those you have epilepsy, I would suggest not playing this game. I almost got headaches when exploring the world back and forth.

Controls are ok. Nothing special about the buttons as this is more of a turn based when battling demons. As I recommend before, play this on a big screen. So, I definitely recommend getting a pro controller while at it.

No spoilers. Overall, it's a great game for the Nintendo Switch. The developers should make this game as a template for upcoming SMT games In the future. My playthrough from beginning to end is roughly around 50 hours in Normal Mode. I am currently on my second playthrough so that I can level up my demon Cleopatra, Mephisto, and Artemis.

Best SMT For Beginners To Start

SMT V is easily the best JRPG of 2021 for me. Dope soundtrack, amazing demon designs, awesome combat system, a stellar gameplay mechanics that allow you to tailor the Nahobino for whatever style of play you wish to use. My only gripe is with the game's performance. SMT 5 is a great looking game when playing in docked mode. However, the Switch's hardware was never anything to write home about, and performance takes a massive dip when exploring the world and when playing in handheld mode.

A phenomenal JRPG held back Nintendo hardware

This game is so fun and much better than the cutesy clone of this game called pokemon. The mechanics are the most refined of any shin megami tensei game I have played thus far. Graphically it is pleasing to the eyes. The music scores will have you head banging ALL NIGHT LONG!
