The Quarry on PS5 is truly an exceptional game. It's a narrative-driven game that tells a gripping story of love, loss, and the complexity of human relationships. The game's writing is top-notch, with well-developed characters and a nuanced exploration of the themes it tackles.

The choices you make in the game have real consequences, which adds an extra layer of depth and immersion to the experience. I found myself truly invested in the outcome of the story, and the game's multiple endings left me reflecting on the choices I had made and the paths I had taken.

Visually, the game is stunning. The attention to detail in the environments and character models is impressive, and the use of lighting and color helps to create a distinct atmosphere for each location in the game. The PS5's powerful hardware really shines in this game, with smooth frame rates and fast loading times that enhance the overall experience.

The sound design is also excellent, with a haunting and atmospheric soundtrack that perfectly complements the game's tone. The voice acting is top-notch, bringing the characters to life and making the emotional beats of the story hit even harder.

Overall, The Quarry is a game that I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a deep and thought-provoking narrative experience. It's a shining example of what video games can achieve as a storytelling medium, and I can't wait to see what the developers do next.

Stunning!

The Quarry

I beat the game and I enjoyed it for the most part. The dialogue can be weird and cheesy at times but the the story is solid. There are so many alternate choices which is great for this type of game and the graphics are amazing.

The Quarry is essentially Until Dawn. There are so many things that are the same. A group of teens runs from a crazy family & werewolves. There aren’t enough chances to actually interact with the game. Until Dawn had more interaction. It’s basically like a movie where once in a while you have to duck under a tree branch. Overall I was disappointed for a $70 game. It should have been maybe $40 at most. I decided to sell mine as I couldn’t really see playing it again. Supermassive’s games after Until Dawn have been very underwhelming. I’d give it a 3/5 or a 6/10.

تقييم: The Quarry

When the sun goes down on the last night of summer camp, nine teenage counselors are plunged into an unpredictable night of horror. The only thing worse than the blood-drenched locals and creatures hunting them are the unimaginable choices you must make to help them survive.
