I installed this game on my Xbox due to the fact that I saw how they improve the graphics very well. It really looks amazing. Injustice 2 campaign mode started directly from the previous story. This time, the story is much deeper and at least was able to conclude properly. Although the last chapter where you will have an option to either have superman or batman's ending added a bit of a cliffhanger. For me, I experienced both endings. It felt like Batman's ending should be the appropriate ending for this game. The fighting mechanics improved a lot. It became more fluid and pulling off some combos is more rewarding. The audio also made a big improvement on this. The roster of this game is mind-blowing. The customization also sounds right in my opinion. It's a good game for me.

Injustice 2 is one of the best fighting games you can get out there. It has great graphics and a decent campaing and the feeling of the combat is unique. If the game wasn't so pricy it whould have been one of the most popular games out there.

Injustice 2 Review

A great sequel, I just wish it gave just a bit more throwbacks then it already did.

A great sequel, I just wish it gave just a bit more throwbacks then it already did.

Pros:

* Good story and character exposition
* Interesting take on DC characters and continues well from the first game and offers two different endings
*   Awesome graphics
* Amazing character gameplay and customization
* The reward system is great and offers advanced players a chance to really take on a challenge
* Multiverse mode gives the game great re-playability features.

Cons:

* To obtain legendary gear and reach maximum level (lvl. 30) with a character takes a lot of grinding and consumes a lot of time which discourages normal gamers from doing this.
* The base mechanics are not very well explained in the game and it takes an absurd amount of self-learning to comprehend the core mechanics and to perform combos and special moves.
* There are extremely minimal ways to obtain shaders for character customization, which then prompts the player to buy source crystals and feels like unnecessary cash-grabs.

I don't know if the gear system was completely necessary especially since if you want high ranking gear you have to pay for microtransactions. While the characters and their fight moves are a step up from the last game there's nothing else to say about its mechanics. Even though I use GTX 1050 Ti, there are still lag moments especially when playing multiplayer which is kind of annoying since the fight is over the moment the lag disappears.
