Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War was a pleasant surprise for me, especially considering I'm not usually a fan of shooter games. But this one truly hit different! Playing it on the PS5, thanks to my PSPlus Subscription, was an absolute treat.

Let's start with the visuals. The graphics in Black Ops Cold War are simply phenomenal. The level of detail in the environments, character models, and weapon designs is stunning. I found myself getting lost in the immersive and realistic world the game presented. And with the power of the PS5, the experience was taken to a whole new level.

The Haptic Feedback and Immersive Audio on the PS5 truly made the gameplay even more captivating. Every gunshot, explosion, and movement was brought to life through the controller, making me feel like I was right in the middle of the action. It's a level of immersion that really elevates the overall experience.

One of the highlights of my time with Black Ops Cold War was playing with my friends in local coop splitscreen. Hours of endless fun were had as we worked together to complete missions and take down enemies. It's always a blast to share the gaming experience with friends, and this game provided plenty of memorable moments.

However, when it comes to the story mode, I have to admit it didn't quite captivate me as much as I had hoped. While the gameplay was solid and action-packed, the narrative felt a bit lacking compared to some other franchises. It could have benefited from a deeper and more engaging storyline to truly hook players in.

Despite this, Black Ops Cold War still delivered on its core promise - intense and adrenaline-pumping shooter action. Whether I was engaging in thrilling gunfights, making use of various tactics and strategies, or simply enjoying the stunning visuals, the game managed to keep me hooked throughout.

In conclusion, Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War is a must-play for fans of the shooter genre, and even for those like me who don't typically gravitate towards these types of games. The visuals, haptic feedback, and immersive audio on the PS5 create an unforgettable experience, and the local coop splitscreen adds a whole new level of fun when playing with friends. While the story mode may not be as deep as some other franchises, the overall gameplay experience more than makes up for it. If you're looking for a thrilling and action-packed shooter game, Black Ops Cold War is definitely worth checking out.

Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War

Call of duty never fails to impress gamers. Just another cod AAA title with amazing graphics, story and gameplay.

Call of duty never fails to impress gamers. Just another cod AAA title with amazing graphics, story and gameplay.

Totally Immersive

imagine bo1/BO2 but with next gen graphics

love this game

This call of duty feels a lot more arcady than past titles... considering the last title they released in their annual COD schedule. The gunplay is like all COD games, strong and sturdy. The story the campaign is trying to be heavy and serious but doesn't quite stick the landing. The multiplayer is really where people's interests lie, and with constant annoying rebalancing of weapons, having to pay for endless season passes, the multiplayer in this version feels like a step down from the previous title.

It's a game that easily fits into the Call of Duty family, a solid entry, but as I have tried most of the CODs I gotta say I'm getting a little weary of the series.

This game series really needs new life breathed into it.
