Here's some fantastic news for fans of the hit anime BLEACH.

Mobile games developer KLab Inc. has announced the upcoming release of BLEACH Soul Puzzle. As opposed to the JRPG <a href="https://whatoplay.com/games/bleach-brave-souls/">BLEACH: Brave Souls</a>, which <a href="https://whatoplay.com/post/bleach-bravesouls-switch/">recently released on Switch</a>, BLEACH Soul Puzzle will be the very first <a href="https://whatoplay.com/android/best/puzzle/">puzzle</a> game based on the popular anime series.

No specific launch date has been revealed yet. Developers, however, said it is scheduled for a global release in 2024.

BLEACH Soul Puzzle will be available both on iOS and Android devices.
It takes the classic match-3 gameplay formula and is set in the world of BLEACH. In it, players need to match three or more puzzle pieces of the same color to clear the board.

The game also promises to go beyond simply matching colorful tiles. Players will witness BLEACH characters unleashing attacks as they clear the board. Additionally, the game will incorporate various BLEACH universe elements. In turn, this will allow players to immerse themselves in the world while developing their puzzle skills.

Meanwhile, KLab Inc. confirmed that characters from the Thousand-Year Blood War arc, the latest season of BLEACH, will make an appearance in the upcoming game.

BLEACH Soul Puzzle marked KLab's expansion to the 'hybrid-casual' gaming market.

"Match-3 puzzle games are a powerhouse genre," the Japanese developer stated in a press release. "(It generates) a staggering 1 trillion Yen in in-app revenue, representing a significant 10% share of the mobile gaming market," they added.

In the meantime, pre-registration and pre-orders for BLEACH Soul Puzzle have started on the <a href="https://apps.apple.com/us/app/bleach-soul-puzzle/id6479249487">App Store</a> and <a href="https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.klab.bleach.puzzle&hl=en">Play Store</a>.

Fans can also participate in a campaign for a chance to win an autograph from Masakazu Morita, the voice actor for protagonist Ichigo Kurosaki. The game will have English and Japanese language support. It can be accessed in over 150 countries and regions.

Paper Ghost Stories Sequel Set for September Release

The final expansion for the hit <a href="https://whatoplay.com/pc/best/strategy/">strategy</a> title <a href="https://whatoplay.com/games/total-war-pharaoh/">Total War: Pharaohs</a> will launch this month.

SEGA unveiled Dynasties, the last content update for Total War: Pharaohs. It will go live this July 25th and players can get it for free.

<div class="video-responsive">
 <iframe width="1353" height="770" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/6erHiCuh1tQ" title="Total War: PHARAOH - Dynasties Overview" frameborder="0" allow="accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share" referrerpolicy="strict-origin-when-cross-origin" allowfullscreen></iframe>
</div>

Game Director Todor Nikolov, in a press release, confirmed that Dynasties will be the last content update for Total War: Pharaohs.

"While it marks the final content addition for PHARAOH, we view it as a love letter encapsulating our continued passion for this era," Nikolov said.

With Dynasties, players can expect a nearly doubled map size and new playable cultures like Babylon and Troy. The expansion will also introduce a dynasty system for managing an empire's legacy.

The new regions will cover the ancient world from the Aegean Sea to Mesopotamia and down to Egypt itself. It will contain at least 168 new settlements, historical landmarks, and fresh victory objectives. To navigate this sprawling sandbox, it will also have a new feature. Called the Sea Travel Lanes, it will allow players faster naval movement as well as more ambitious conquests.

Dynasties will also introduce four iconic new civilizations. They are Babylon, Assyria, Mycenae, and Troy. Each city will not only have unique campaign experiences. But also renowned historical leaders, diverse armies, and distinct sets of deities to appease.

Players can also choose from an additional 25 minor factions. Each faction has its own story to tell, such as the Aeolians led by the legendary Achilles or the Napata kingdom under the warrior-king Memnon.

On top of these, the Dynasties update will introduce a new feature - managing dynasties. It will allow players to ensure the longevity of their dynasties. They can do this by establishing a family tree or forging strategic marriages. Or they can do battlefield sacrifices and even assassinations.

On the battlefield, Dynasties also adds over 150 new and reworked units. These included cavalry, camel riders, and faction-specific warriors like the elite Guards of Troy. Players seeking a more brutal challenge can activate the optional Lethality modifier. This increases combat deadliness for a more realistic war experience, according to developers.
