- Dungeons 3 is a title that has a very specific clientele. If you are a Dungeon Keeper fan, you have probably bought this game already. If you are an RTS fan, then you should consider this title if you are willing to go outside of the box. Overall, this is a title that knows what it wants to do and sets about doing it as efficiently as possible, nothing more and nothing less.

If you are tired of the paladins and people who play them, this is the game for you.

Excessive loading screens, sluggish combat when the screen is full of allies and enemies and a lack of explanation as far as the controls are concerned are chief amongst the problems. On the flip-side there’s a lot that Dungeons 3 gets right, such as the interesting story, gorgeous visuals, the clever and well structured mechanics, the vast amount of content, randomly generated levels and the comedy value found in the dialogue.

Most of all, though, it's addictive. Dungeons 3 features incredibly polished gameplay with great visuals and audio and the wide variety within the campaigns 20 missions never gets boring.

Whether this is a deal-breaker is likely down to your relationship with the series, but while the first title worked to lay the groundwork and the second introduced an overworld, Dungeons 3 fails to innovate in the same way.

Both Overworld and Dungeon sides are kept relatively simple so things never truly get frustrating, and every part of it remains satisfying, from smacking your minions to blasting dwarves in the face and watching their bodies fly across the floor.

Sería deseable que un multijugador para el que el juego parece estar bastante orientado ofreciera más libertad y se condicionase menos a que sus amigos tengan también el título, y ojalá esté animado durante bastante tiempo, porque es un juego para sonreir y dejar salir al malvado que llevamos dentro.

Estamos ante una propuesta que no se sale de sus cánones, pero que ofrece contenido y variedad durante horas y horas. A la saga le sienta muy bien la inserción de los escenarios aleatorios, y también el modo cooperativo. Como decimos, divertido y completo, aunque conciso en su propuesta: no esperéis nada que se salga del género de apuntar y dar una orden, porque aquí no lo hay.
