  • Yes, Your Grace is a great medieval resource-management simulation RPG with a gripping tale and multiple endings.

  • There's a decent amount of competition seemingly offering what Yes, Your Grace does, but none of them are structured in the rigid fashion that allows for such a deliberate and intricately shaped story to take place. It's certainly a refreshing take on what can sometimes feel like a stagnant genre, but its novelty is not the only thing going for it. Yes, Your Grace goes out of its way to tell a thrilling and tense story that stays with you after you've found a way to complete it.

  • A game about being a king with king and human problems on his shoulders that you need to solve carefully, thoughtfully, and creatively while working with limited information.

  • Yes, Your Grace loses nothing in its port to mobile, retaining its enthralling atmosphere and narrative, driven forward by straightforward gameplay. You'll spend countless hours in the kingdom of Davern reflecting on your tough choices, while soaking in the wonderful design of the game.

  • This game won't appeal to everyone, so if you’re the kind of person who really wants to explain to your wife why you let your youngest daughter keep a pet bear before then updating her on your progress with arcane rituals, then this is probably the only game that will scratch that particular itch. If you don’t care for adventure games or this kind of narrative-focused gameplay, then there isn’t much to recommend here.

  • The limited impact of your decisions doesn’t detract from how engrossing Yes, Your Grace is as a game. The pixel art is fantastic and the soundtrack does a great job of grounding the setting. For all its focus on strategy, it is calming to be able to think about the concerns of a world very different from our own.

  • An interesting combination of kingdom management and point-and-click adventuring that doesn't always form into a cohesive whole. Yes, Your Grace has a flavour all of its own, though, and you'll genuinely come to care for the royal family at its core.

  • Yes, Your Grace is a deeply moving and thought-provoking kingdom-management simulator with a brilliant storyline. Though some of the core plot points of the story feel somewhat linear, it is nonetheless still an emotional, intriguing, and enjoyable journey. The kingdom-management system feels meaningful while you're playing, but once you reach the end it starts to feel like some of your resource management didn't hold quite as much weight as you once thought.

  • I admire that the choices aren’t black-and-white, and I have fond memories of the king and his daughters, especially of the youngest and her quest for the perfect pet. But Yes, Your Grace requires too much hindsight and replaying through content to see better outcomes, which is more repetitive than eye-opening.

    About the game

In this kingdom management RPG, petitioners will arrive in the throne room each turn to ask for your advice and assistance. Decide whether to help them with their problems, or to conserve resources for more important matters. Remember: supplies are limited, and not everyone has the kingdom’s best interests at heart...
