- WRC 10 contains significantly more content than its already packed predecessor, and can provide extremely satisfying rally gameplay once you get used to its (accurately) unforgiving handling. This is let down, however, by the game's visuals, which are tolerable while docked but look awful when playing in handheld. As long as you can put up with how it looks, there should be enough here to keep you busy for months.
Chris Scullion · Mar 19, 2022 Reviewed on SwitchRead full review - In the end, WRC 10 hits enough high points to be notable and it's a sure bet that things will be improved over time with updates, new content releases, and patches. However, it's not the game for everyone and there is certainly something to be said for waiting for a definitive edition for those who may be on the fence.
Brau3er · Nov 29, 2021 Reviewed on PCRead full review - WRC 10 is one fine looking game. The car models are outstanding and the damage modeling only adds to the experience. The tracks are gorgeous with plenty of dust and weather effects that look simply stunning at times. The frame rate holds up on the new consoles creating a smooth racing experience. There is little to complain about when it comes to simply looking at this game. It truly showcases some visual eye candy. Audio is equally impressive with the engine hums and crunching metal sounding fantastic through either my headphones or sound setup.
Ken McKown · Oct 19, 2021 Reviewed on Series X|SRead full review - WRC 10 is a safe entry, celebrating the long, rich history of the World Rally Championship, while taking care to not break anything that was already working well. If you missed out on WRC 9, you may be content with picking that up for a bargain (assuming you have a disc-based console). If you want the latest and most up-to-date rally racing simulator, though, then WRC 10 is more than competent at providing a ton of fun for rally fans everywhere.
Paulmichael Contreras · Oct 18, 2021 Reviewed on PS5Read full review - WRC 10 isn’t going to be for everybody, but I think the ones that love it will really love it. The driving is excellent, and the sound design is next to none. Plus, it features a deep career mode and several historical scenarios for you to sink your teeth into. One minute, it’s frustrating the hell out of you; the next, you’re pumping your fist in the air over the milliseconds you were able to shave off a run. And that’s what racing is all about.
Rhett Waselenchuk · Sep 21, 2021 Reviewed on PS5Read full review - WRC 10 is a real masterpiece among rally racing games. Not only is it an audiovisual experience that is true-to-life, the driving feels realistic and the game brings enough content to the table to keep you going for quite some time. With the mix between new and classic rally cars, you have a wide range of toys to play with. The career mode is long and elaborate, and with the many customization options on hand, it can be a game fit for any kind of player.
MC_JP · Sep 17, 2021 Reviewed onRead full review - WRC 10 FIA World Rally Championship is a really well-balanced all-around experience built on a reliable formula. Rally fans will find plenty of things to do across the large roster of content. Players new to the series will find the game to be a compelling pack, but those coming from WRC 9 will find very little to love. KT Racing showcase their amazing knack for stage design, which brings a lot of the historical rallies to life, but the game would do wonders without the fluff sprawled throughout the game.
Keegan Govender · Sep 16, 2021 Reviewed on PS5Read full review - WRC 10 shines when it’s not trying to lure you in with a load of flashy bullshit. Instead, it’s best when it’s got you on the track, careering through chicanes or clinging on for dear life as you hoist yourself through a hairpin. But now, KT Racing’s time with the franchise is up. Codemasters, a new challenger approaches. And they’ve got some big boots to fill.
Jon Davis · Sep 13, 2021 Reviewed on PCRead full review - Overall and if you can look past that glaring miss of possible greed, WRC 10 is a fantastic game. The cars feel the part, handling is much more in-depth this year than in previous entries, and should you have the capacity to race with a wheel then you’ll find the whole experience incredibly engaging. Even with a controller though there is certainly plenty to be excited by and whilst we only have a few years left of Kylotonn holding the WRC license, we are surely seeing the best we’ve ever seen from the franchise yet.
Carlos Santuana · Sep 08, 2021 Reviewed on Series X|SRead full review - At its core, WRC 10 is to the race track what Football Manager is to the pitch. It’s a racer made not just for the Rally Championship, but genre fans seeking a strategic simulation experience.
