- If at any point while reading this you’ve subconsciously scratched your head in mild confusion, I think it’s safe to say that What the Golf? has done the job it was created to do. This is one of those games that needs to be physically played to be fully understood and appreciated, and I can almost guarantee you’ll have a grand time with it if you go ahead and decide to pick up a copy. It’s a title that appeals to people of all ages, shining at its very brightest when experienced with others or used to unwind at the end of a particularly stressful day.

From beginning to end I found myself surprised and entertained by what new twists were thrown my way and I look forward to seeing what the team has in store next. Some technical hiccups here and there led to some small frustrations but none were enough to get me to hang up the club. Well worth a look for all who are interested!

There’s a good amount of content to be found here, alongside charming graphics, a cute soundtrack, and a barrage of hilarious surprises. We really recommend giving this one a shot, whether you hate golf or love it.

Labeled as the game for those that hate golf, most levels keep with the same underlying concept of golf, but you never truly know what you'll end up doing until you're in the thick of it. With plenty of replayability options, including multiplayer, What The Golf is a sweet little diversion that would be suitable to play with the whole family.

It’s one of the most creative, hilarious and unique games you’ll find. A mix of puzzle solving, arcade fun and downright zany concepts, it’s pure entertainment at its finest. What The Golf? is exactly the kind of joyful experience we all need in our lives right now.

Its aesthetic is a little bit indie-by-numbers but there's so much to see and do here that'll have you (and a friend) laughing out loud. It may not be the most difficult game in the world, but it's damn good fun, even if you don't like golf. Especially if you don't like golf, in fact.

Le jeu est toujours aussi plaisant, et plus beau que jamais. On attend maintenant avec impatience le remake du premier Mafia qui, lui, pourrait bien se montrer réellement spectaculaire !

The game cleverly uses a singular game mechanic, but stretches it out into so many different genres, styles and even other video games that it is truly impressive that the experience never gets stale. The overworld is a bit tedious to fully explore and the button controls aren’t as perfected as the touch controls, but still I think you cannot go wrong with this game.

It’s also exactly the sort of bright and silly game we could all do with right now. Is it golf? Is it not? Who cares when the end result is so damn funny.

Sure, it has ‘golf’ in the title but that’s about where the similarity to golf ends. WHAT THE GOLF? is at heart a comedy game with puzzles, challenges and loads of surprises. Okay, so there’s a bit of what you might recognise as golf in there but loads more of what definitely isn’t! Confused? Excellent!
