- A good game in a great series, but it only gets a qualified recommendation because of its weak naval warfare and its lack of several clever features that distinguish its predecessors. Solo wargamers in particular probably want to stick with AirLand Battle, but series newcomers and multiplayer gamers will find Red Dragon the biggest, most comprehensive game in the serie
Rob Zacny · Apr 29, 2014 Reviewed on PCRead full review - Wargame: Red Dragon is the first title in the series to show a little wear and tear. It’s still an excellent strategy game and a showpiece in technological game design, but after three games in three years, and a lack of innovation from one game to another, it’s difficult to justify the full price tag.
Ryan Davies · May 12, 2014 Reviewed on PCRead full review - So, Wargame: Red Dragon. If you’re a fan of the series, you’ve probably already bought the game before you even read this review. It’s more of the same, but better, which was to be expected, and I have enjoyed playing it a lot. But I do feel we’re at a critical juncture now, and I have to ask the question – will this keep working? It probably will, but I don’t see the community for Wargame getting much bigger after this, and a thriving community is what keeps this game fun.
Joe Robinson · Apr 28, 2014 Reviewed on PCRead full review - Ich bin maßlos enttäuscht von Wargame: Red Dragon.
