  • However if you are in the mood to grind away hour upon hour to better your character; all while laughing at insane conversations between hair obsessed characters and kings with an eye for food and adventure, you have met your match. Just make sure not to throw the prinnies as they do tend explode on contact Dood!

  • However, the challenge level is slightly higher in Riz’s campaign, and there are a whole slew of new characters and ridiculous interactions to enjoy and be victimized by. Just don’t kid yourself into thinking the end will make sense of anything!

  • The true advantage of Trinity Universe is that the experience is only as insane as you'd like to make it. You can plow through the main narrative without touching many of the upgrades, or you can take your time to harvest materials and build your group up to ridiculous proportions.

  • But Nippon Ichi fanatics already have the deeper, more tactical Cross Edge, while newcomers have plenty more accessible - and vastly better-looking - role-players on PS3 to keep them busy. While it's commendable that publishers are still localising these quintessentially weird and wonderful Japanese games, ironically, Trinity Universe's biggest problem might just be that it's not quite crazy enough.

    About the game

Combining the talents of the RPG masters at Nippon Ichi Software, Gust, and Idea Factory, Trinity Universe combines the characters of the Disgaea and Atelier series together in an original world setting. Players will take on the role of either a male main character or a female main character. Both of these characters have their own original story with many guest appearances. The game is played out in full 3D with anime style artwork.
