    The biggest triumph, though, of this remake is that it highlights how well designed the original Toki Tori was. Aside from some wonky stereoscopic 3D, the warts are definitely smoothed over here, but the base is entirely intact from the little-known Game Boy Color game that launched after the Game Boy Advance was out in stores. If you’ve never experienced Toki Tori before, this 3DS remake is worth checking out.

    For anyone who hasn't experienced the colourful world of Toki Tori before, it's hard to not recommend this version, especially due to the fact that its price is similar to an espresso at Costa. In conclusion: there's not much more that needs to be said, other than the fact that this is the same great game, now available in 3D!

    We were tempted to simply write 'this is Toki Tori, but with 3D' as a one-line review, as that's basically what we have here. That wouldn't have done justice to the quality of the port though, nor the fact that it recreates the version seen on platforms like PC and Wii U with a stylish 3D effect and on-the-go gaming. It's a lovely version of an enjoyable puzzle game, and courtesy of its budget price should be considered by Toki Tori veterans and newcomers alike.

    Toki Tori 3D é mais uma conversão deste clássico do Game Boy Color que oferece uma boa selecção de desafios e uma curva de aprendizagem próxima do ideal. Embora esta versão da 3DS não possa ser considerada como estando acima das outras, a portabilidade da consola e o preço tornam-no num título altamente recomendável para os fãs de puzzles.

    Se tiveram oportunidade de jogar o remake de Toki Tori no WiiWare, não há grandes razões para um novo investimento. Por outro lado, se são verdadeiros puristas, então esta relíquia retro poderá satisfazer a vossa ânsia por um quebra-cabeças com um charme vincado. Mas ao fim e ao cabo, este Toki Tori dentro de uma 3DS não deixa de ser uma omelete à beira de um suculento bife. Come-se, mas há algo melhor bem perto.

The gameplay in Toki Tori is a blend of two genres. While it looks like a platform game, it's a puzzle game at heart. To progress through the game, players will have to look and plan ahead carefully while using items such as the Telewarp, Freeze-o-Matic and InstantRock™. Additional tools are gradually introduced as the player progresses through the game's 80+ levels covering five unique worlds.
