  • Tiny Thief is a platform game with a stealth aspect, and if you like that sort of thing, it’s great. It’s also got a bit of an arcade influence and some serious replay value, thanks to Rovio’s touch. But despite all the popular wizardry behind the game and the candy coloured graphics, I don’t think it’s very deep. It’s certainly fun, but it’s not something I want to go rushing back to all the time.

  • Overall Tiny Thief does nothing to reinvent the wheel but it is a solid offering from a solid development team. Instead of delivering yet another watered-down game, 5 Ants swung for the fences with a polished casual effort that makes for an entertaining experience for gamers of all ages and skill levels.

  • The only real fault of Tiny Thief is that I wish there was more of it. I was glued to my screen, ready to see what the next area would be, and laughing all the way at the game's effortless charm. If you're a fan of adventure games, this is a no-brainer -- just don't be surprised if you spend an entire afternoon tearing through it, longing for more.

  • There are five tutorials, which barely count as levels, and another 25 stages across five worlds. I was shocked by how well every level distinguished itself, even within worlds. Every new screen was like beginning a newly reset game of Mouse Trap, but with setup exorcised in favor of pure Goldbergian fun.

  • But when all is said and done, I can’t say I have ever played a more unique and wonderful point-and-click adventure that was specifically built for the mobile screen. In every way possible, Tiny Thief manages to raise the bar between what can be accomplished on the mobile platform today in 2013, as it settles right into its impeccable balance between fun, original gameplay, and the bright accessibility of games like Angry Birds.

  • Tiny Thief is a stealth puzzle steal-em-up mash up by Angry Bird’s developers Rovio. It features fiendishly challenging gameplay, cute characters and nice graphics. There is no free version of the game so you’ll have to take the plunge on the $2.99 charge but the game offers plenty of play time so it’s certainly worth the outlay. It’s perhaps not as absorbing as other Rovio titles, but if you enjoy stealth or puzzle games, definitely check it out.

  • I wasn’t entirely sure what to expect from Tiny Thief but I’ve definitely come away impressed. It’s a cute, clever, and oddly rewarding little puzzle game that manages to pull from a few different genres quite effectively.

  • Tiny Thief is a beautiful game, with an alluring art style similar to that of Angry Birds and the like, the soundtrack also fits perfectly with the upbeat and cheerful vibe the game emits, making it a joy to play at any time, for anyone. I’ve highlighted many of the great things this game has in store for it’s players, and truthfully there aren’t many areas in which the game falls short, it can be completed in a disappointingly short time of 2-3 hours, but for a game originally for mobile, a huge amount of gaming hours aren’t to be expected.

  • It ain't all that tough, and it's over pretty quickly, but that didn't stop us enjoying every moment we spent with Tiny Thief. It's perfect for youngers audiences, but its neat puzzles and irresistible visuals should captivate grown-up gamers just as easily. Nab it, and it may just steal your heart.

  • Tiny Thief isn't particularly difficult, but its bite-sized challenges are a perfect fit for a quick session on the move and provide just enough mental exercise to blow the cobwebs away on the journey to work. Part adventure game, part hidden object puzzler, with just a dash of stealth, it combines many influences yet feels like nothing else on the App Store. If this is the sort of title Rovio plans to highlight as a publisher, it's off to a great start.
