- The Next Penelope is a short but very fun racer. While it may be the eye-catching visuals that initially draw you in, it’s the tough, clever, addictive racing gameplay that you’ll want to stay for. Another winner for the Nintendo eShop on Nintendo Switch.

It is an adventure game that happens to use racing as one of its core mechanics. There are many little things that you need to keep in mind to nail down a challenge. Strategy is the magical word here, and you shouldn't forget when the game throws you yet another curve. The journey is over before you know, which is a slight shame, as I was hoping for it skew a bit longer.

Fans of the classic '80s series Ulysses 31 will appreciate the excellent adaptation of Homer's Odyssey, while those of you who like your gaming to be fast and intense are sure to be pleased by the thrilling racing, engaging shooter sections and overall variety in the experience.

It's a shame more old-school racers aren't around, but with games like this and 90s Arcade Racer, the scene is seeing a revival that brings a huge smile to my face.

A shockingly robust, if also rather brief, multiplayer mode, and a gorgeous visual style round off a package that evokes the classic gameplay of F-Zero and Micro Machines, yet somehow makes the experience its own.

Aunque el análisis puede sonar un poco duro, es muy adictivo, de esos juegos que cuesta despegarse hasta que lo terminas o encuentras un bloqueo que consideras imposible de superar.

On s'y plonge du coup avec un plaisir teinté d'un certain masochisme, avide de découvrir toutes les ingénieuses surprises qui nous y attentent. La construction de l'aventure aurait sans doute gagné à être travaillée un peu différemment pour se montrer plus dense et variée. Mais les amateurs et amatrices de sensations fortes, de poursuites débridées et de challenge bien corsé y trouveront largement leur compte.

Sans être révolutionnaire, le jeu est délicieusement rétro, mais avec juste ce qu'il faut de modernité pour ne pas puer le passéisme mielleux, comme c'est parfois le cas avec ce genre de productions. Une petite pastille de fraicheur et de couleurs pour bien commencer l'été.

Com uma dificuldade elevada e desafios constantes, peca pela longevidade reduzida agravada pela ausência de multijogador online, que torna difícil justificar um preço de venda tão elevado, apesar da grande qualidade do conteúdo presente.
