- As most of us are pretty positive about The Coma 2, it is evenly good on the consoles as on the PC. The gameplay is fun but can be frustrating as the enemies are relentless and will end your life rather quickly. You will explore many places in the Korean town, while uncovering hidden lore, solving puzzles and dodging many enemies. The graphics are amazing and the sounds are very immersing, after playing this game you surely will have some PTSD from the tapping of high heels.
MC_JP · Sep 28, 2020 Reviewed on XB1Read full review - The Coma 2: Vicious Sisters is a great horror experience. With hand crafted visuals and a passion for the development this title should give the player a couple hours of gruesome entertainment filled with blood, sweat and tears. It’s great to see a 2D side scrolling title like this. It works well and I hope to see more.
Jamie Baldock · Sep 17, 2020 Reviewed on XB1Read full review - As someone who missed out on the original game, playing through this sequel for review has me eager to dive deep into it to see what I missed. If the game is anywhere near as good as The Coma 2: Vicious Sisters, I’m sure I’m in for a terrifying treat.
Francis DiPersio · Sep 16, 2020 Reviewed on XB1Read full review - The Coma 2: Vicious Sisters kept me on my toes. For a game whose genre I’m not particularly fond of at all, and yet provided me with an immersive and atmospheric experience that I genuinely enjoyed, I have to give it the utmost respect. From the unique art style to the effective story telling, to the ominous music, puzzle-solving, and enjoyable gameplay, The Coma 2: Viscious Sisters is a solid game that, for me, transcends the genre of horror.
Edmond Aggabao · Sep 01, 2020 Reviewed on PS4Read full review - Don’t expect less from a K-horror with a solid story, amazing visuals, and intense gameplay. The Coma 2: Vicious Sisters immerses you into a haunting world with its on-point atmosphere and sound. This game emphasizes survival/adventure horror and gives you a hard time in doing so, making it a bit overwhelming at times. We can even call it frustrating at some points. Especially when looking at save points to be exact. Still, The Coma 2 is an impressive sequel to an existing game that has a great following cult and it stands out among its peers in the genre.
JenRox · Aug 21, 2020 Reviewed on PS4Read full review - The Coma 2: Vicious Sisters mixes up the Lovecraftian horror with the Asian concept of netherworld to present its ghastly apparitions and locales, overgrown in tentacles and disfigured flesh. Still, the game is wise enough not to rely on jump scares even though there are some unexpected sights to behold. Like the best Asian horror, it slowly creeps under your skin and when played late in the night, you know what you will be dreaming of.
Jukka Piira · Jul 16, 2020 Reviewed on PS4 - The Coma 2: Vicious Sisters has all the elements of a great horror game perfectly balanced to draw you in. It isn’t the longest of games, but that is reasonably reflected in the price, and there is always something to be said for any experience that leaves you wanting more.
Kirstie Summers · Jul 01, 2020 Reviewed on SwitchRead full review - The distinctive visual presentation is gorgeous – and a significant upgrade to its predecessor’s art – but it’s a bit of a shame the sound and dialogue hasn’t had quite the same level of polish. Longevity is another shortcoming; once you've finished the game's 10-hour story, there's little reason to return. Overall, though, this is a great narrative-centric horror game that fans of the genre should absolutely jump on.
Pete Davison · Jun 28, 2020 Reviewed on SwitchRead full review - I went into The Coma 2: Vicious Sisters expecting nothing, but aside from the initial frustration I had with its combat elements, came away having enjoyed this nice little slice of K-horror a lot. Now that it's over (it's rather short), I find myself thinking about going to the original game and giving it a try. If you're looking for a unique take on survival horror that isn't part of an established series already, this should whet your horror whistle nicely.
Brittany Vincent · Feb 15, 2020 Reviewed on PCRead full review - The Coma 2: Vicious Sisters is a strong house of horrors with a solid story, improvements compared to its first part, great graphics and sound. The animations could have been slightly better, and the gameplay feels like it counters the horror atmosphere that the game sets up at times, but it manages to be a really tense experience overall, and tense is just what you are looking for in a genre like this.
